This six-week series explores Sadaqah through selected narrations of the Prophet ﷺ from the book ‘The Ultimate Profit: 40 Hadith on Sadaqah’. Through these prophetic teachings, we will discover how even the smallest acts of goodness can have a lasting impact, revealing that charity in Islam extends far beyond financial giving. From sincere intentions and earning Allah’s mercy, to protecting ourselves from hardship, helping others, and giving secretly, each week offers practical lessons on transforming everyday actions into meaningful acts of Sadaqah. 📖 Dua's Covered in Increase Me in Knowledge 1) Aspiring for Increase in Knowledge  رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمً My Lord! Increase me in knowledge. - [Surah Ta Ha: 114] اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي وَزِدْنِي عِلْمًا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ حَالِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ Oh Allah, benefit me with that which You have taught me, and teach me that which will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge. All praise is due to Allah in every condition, and I seek refuge in Allah from the condition of the people of the Fire. - [At-Tirmizi] 2) The Ultimate Pursuit of Wisdom اللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْهُ الْحِكْمَةَ وَتَأْوِيلَ الْكِتَابِ Oh Allah, teach him wisdom and the (correct) interpretation of the Book. - [Ibn Majah] - رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ My Lord, grant me wisdom; join me with the righteous. - [Surah As-Syu’ara: 83] 3) Seeking Beneficial Knowledge and Protection from That Which are Not اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا طَيِّبًا، وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا Oh Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is of benefit, a good provision, and deeds that will be accepted. - [Ibn Majah] اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ، وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا Oh Allah, I seek refuge in You from the knowledge which does not benefit, from the heart that does not entertain the fear (of Allah), from the soul that does not feel contented and the supplication that is not responded. - [Muslim] رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لي بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُنْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers. - [Surah Hud: 47] 4) Asking Allah for Facilitation to Knowledge اللَّهُمَّ أَرِنِي الْحَقَّ حَقًّا وَارْزُقْنِي اتِّبَاعَهُ وَأَرِنِي الْبَاطِلَ بَاطِلًا وَارْزُقْنِي اجْتِنَابَهُ Oh Allah! Show us the truth as true, and inspire us to follow it. Show us falsehood as falsehood, and inspire us to abstain from it. - [Al-Ghazali in Ihya attributed to Abu Bakr with no chain & Ibn Kathir in Tafsir as a ‘reported do’a] رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي Oh my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness), and ease my task for me, and untie the knot from my tongue, so that they may understand my words… - [Surah Ta-Ha: 25-28] اللَّهمَّ ربَّ جبريلَ وميكائيلَ وإسرافيلَ فاطرَ السَّمواتِ والأرضِ عالِمَ الغيبِ والشَّهادةِ أنتَ تحكُمُ بينَ عبادِكَ فيما كانوا فيهِ يختلِفونَ اهدِني لما اختُلِفَ فيهِ منَ الحقِّ بإذنِكَ إنَّكَ تهدي من تشاءُ إلى صِراطٍ مستقيمٍ O Allah, Lord of Jibraīl, Mīkaīl and Israfīl (great angels), Creator of the heavens and the Earth,  Knower of the seen and the unseen. You are the arbitrator between Your servants in that which they have disputed. Guide me to the truth by Your leave, in that which they have differed, for verily You guide whom You will to a straight path. - [Muslim] 5) Protection From Ignorance and its Ramifications أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant. - [Al-Baqarah: 67] اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي خَطِيئَتِي وَجَهْلِي، وَإِسْرَافِي فِي أَمْرِي، وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي O Allah! Forgive my errors and my ignorance, my excesses in my affairs, and what You know better than I do. - [Al-Bukhari & Muslim] 6) The Knowledge of The Quran and its Special Ones  اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلِ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي وَنُورَ صَدْرِي وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي Oh Allah! Make the Quran the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my distress. - [Ahmad] اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ أَهْلِ الْقُرْآنِ الَّذِينَ هُمْ أَهْلُكَ وَخَاصَّتُكَ Oh Allah, make me among the people of the Quran, who are Your people and Your special ones. - [Ibn Majah, with minor adjustments]
