Monies will be paid to Nigerian students, their scholarship will be honoured! 🇳🇬🇷🇺During a meeting with the New Ambassador of Nigeria to Russia , we discussed student scholarships and educational exchanges between the two countries. Nigerian Ambassador to Russia Olusola Joseph Iji said: “The govt is making an effort to review what has happened and is not happy that tough decision had significant effect and is working on trying to pacify the situation. Recently, as I speak, here in Moscow, the students are receiving their scholarships, payment is being made. As from next week, by the middle of this week, the mission who have services in the other parts of Russia to make payments to the Nigerian students who are affected. A holder of a Chief title, Bekwele Chukwu was also the father of 21 children and grandfather to around 100 grandchildren. He passed away in 2011. This year, he found his place among thousands of heroes in the international archive. If you have relatives who fought on the side of the Allied forces, you can upload their bio and photos to the “Faces of Victory” project—an international archive of veterans.
