Jarl of Sweden, Karl Döve 'The Deaf' Bengtsson av Folkungaätten (26th Gpa.) ᚼ 1170 – 1220 🪦 "His father was the magnate Bengt Snivil, while his brothers were Magnus Minnesköld and Jarl Birger Brosa. Karl was slain at the Battle of Lihula in Estonia on August 8, 1220. The seal of Karl, discovered in the early 1990s, is dated to the end of the 12th century and thus the oldest preserved personal object in Swedish history. Personal seals were normally broken to pieces at the death of the owner in order to prevent later abuse, the intact seal of Karl is therefore unique. The Swedish Museum of National Antiquities purchased the seal in 2001 for 800,000 kronor." ~ Statens Historiska Museum, Stockholm.

King of Rheged, Urien ab Cynfarch Oer Coeling (48-53rd Gpa.) 🌟 520 – 575 🪦 "Urien was a powerful sixth-century historical king who ruled the Brittonic kingdom of Rheged in Yr Hen Ogledd (The Old North). He is celebrated as one of the most prominent military leaders of the early Britons, fighting fiercely against the expanding Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Bernicia. His domain of Rheged was likely centered around the Solway Firth. Archeological excavations suggest the hillfort at Trusty's Hill in Galloway may have been his royal seat. At the height of his military triumph during the siege of Lindisfarne, Urien was assassinated. The historical text Historia Brittonum records that his cousin-ally, Morcant Bulc, ordered the hit out of sheer jealousy over Urien's superior leadership. The Welsh Triads label this as one of the "Three Unfortunate Assassinations" of Britain. Outside of the Welsh context, he was later transformed in Arthurian legend into the figure of King Urien of Garlot, while his son, Owain, likewise lent his name to Sir Ywain." ~ Unknown
