They spit on everything our ancestors cared about. They are disgusted at our humanity and the natural world, so they try to replace it with artificial nothingness. Why? part of the answer is in their psychology. They are absolutely incapable of living a normal life. They cannot make friends, they cannot find lovers, they cannot find satisfaction, and they suffer from depression and autistically skewed worldviews. These are the people that control our world. View the full article This situation is an excellent example of how technophiles and the Techno-industrial system as a whole value technical progress and advancement over humanity. They believe that humans are obstacles in the path of progress, and expenses as if we are soulless machinery. They only value technical efficiency and advancement, rather than human values like freedom and dignity. They can claim that they support human values all they want, but when they have to pick, they will always choose progress, no matter the cost. AntiTechRevolt

I often look at pretty images and get carried away, thinking that this world is beautiful, forgetting that we have surrounded ourselves in the ugly and the weak and left behind all things beautiful and strong in the name of progress and cheap comfort. I look at images, videos or views that reflect the natural beauty of the world and sometimes for a second forget how fucked everything around is. Sometimes the right image with the right little song playing in the background is enough to remind you that maybe things aren't that bad, only for you to see something that shatters that dream on the very next day. And to once again bring me to the conclusion that beauty stems from nature and the simplicity around observing it. Not because everything in nature is perfect and devoid of suffering, but because nature gets rid of the weak and the ugly to make space for the strong and the beautiful. That way the ugly isn't kept around, suffering and polluting and degrading the beautiful. So the dream can't be shattered.
