Allameh Tabataba’i’s view on Abdullah ibn Saba in Al-Mizan: “The story of Abdullah ibn Saba is one of the fabricated stories and historical myths.” 📗 “What they fabricated concerning the narration of Ibn al-Sawda the same person whom they called Abdullah ibn Saba and whose narration ultimately traces back to those two [weak] narrators, is among the fabricated reports. But a Sunni Muslim replies that all of their traditional sources state that the Prophet married Aisha when she was nine, and that this is part of their tradition.
