Учасникам буде надано безкоштовні проживання та триразове харчування.   • The Astronomical Institute and the Space Research and Planetary Sciences division of the University of Bern are now accepting applications for two PhD and one Postdoc position in the field of planetary science and planetary geodesy. The positions are related to a funded project in the context of ESA's RAMSES (Rapid Apophis Mission for Space Safety), which will rendezvous with the near-Earth asteroid (99942) Apophis in 2029 and observe its extremely close flyby of Earth; an event that occurs only once every thousand years. This unique natural experiment will provide unprecedented insight into how tidal forces can reshape an asteroid's surface and internal structure.   • The University of Turku in Finland invites applications for a PhD researcher position in space physics and data analytics. The three-year position is full-time and fixed term, starting on 1 Sep 2026 (or upon mutual agreement). The successful candidate will work with Dr. Nina Dresing in her Research Council of Finland project AIPAD, which is a collaboration between the Space Research Laboratory at the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Algorithmics and Computational Intelligence research group at the Department of Computing at the University of Turku. The project aims at developing new machine learning algorithms targeted at in-situ measurements of solar energetic particles (SEP). The goal of the PhD project is to fill observational gaps in measurements of SEP pitch-angle distributions. The selected person will be employed by the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
