Hi everyone! This is AKANE! It's so hot every day! I hope everyone is doing well. Are you all avoiding heatstroke and summer fatigue? Make sure to stay hydrated and replenish your electrolytes, eat well, get plenty of rest, and take care of your body without overexerting yourself! The hot days are still continuing, but let's take care of our health and get through the summer in good spirits! Well then! BAND-MAID's summer festival fest has begun! This year marks the most appearances at summer festivals in BAND-MAID's history! I'm so incredibly excited!!! First up, the first summer festival, "NUMBER SHOT 2026," held on August 1st! I've always wanted to perform at this festival, so I was incredibly happy to finally get the chance! We performed on a stage called "Nobosemon STAGE," which was a beach stage overlooking the ocean! We're not exactly the kind of band that would suit a sunny beach, but that's part of the charm of a festival, and it was fresh and incredibly fun! It's been a while since we started the setlist with "Ready to Rock," so we went full throttle right from the first song! It felt amazing to experience SUPER SUNSHINE in such a fantastic location! I really felt the summer vibes! The catering was also fantastic and luxurious! I thoroughly enjoyed Fukuoka's gourmet food, including ramen with a boiled egg from Shin Shin, sea bream rice porridge from Yoshida, chicken hot pot from Torita, sushi from Oni Sushi, and much more! I had so much fun all day long! And on August 2nd was "OSAKA GIGANTIC MUSIC FESTIVAL 2026"! JAIGARAL's 10th Anniversary! We had the honor of being the opening act on the "SKY STAGE" in such a memorable year! To celebrate our 10th anniversary and to liven up the start of the day, we went all out from the very beginning of the day! It was so much fun to play FREEDOM again after so long! I'm also happy that there are more songs that everyone can enjoy together, such as Dilly-Dally and ENERGETIC! It's great to see the songs grow and develop through serving customers like this! Once again, congratulations on JAIGA's 10th anniversary! I was so happy to be able to celebrate with everyone! Thank you to everyone who came to visit! NUMBER SHOT and JAIGA will do their best to come back even more powerful!! This weekend, August 16th, is "SUMMER SONIC 2026"! I'm really looking forward to Summer Sonic! I'm so excited to be able to see my three favorite bands at Summer Sonic, since they're performing on the same day as The Warning! I'm full of energy! It's guaranteed to be an incredibly exciting performance! We'll be waiting for you at the "PACIFIC STAGE" from 16:40! And on August 22nd is "WILD BUNCH FEST. 2026"! Wyvern has always wanted to perform at this festival, so we're really excited! It's been quite a while since I've been to Yamaguchi, so I'm really looking forward to it! Furthermore, at the end of this month, on August 29th, it's "THE GREATEST ROCK FUKUOKA"! To think I'll be able to stand on the stage at Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka...! My first time at a dome, I'm trembling! It is a true honor to be able to stand on the same stage as such legendary figures! With respect, and feel gratitude for, our great predecessors in our hearts, we'll give it our all in true BAND-MAID style! I'm going to make this the most exciting day ever! I'm so happy to be able to perform at so many festivals! I'm really looking forward to the festival in September!! Everyone, please come and visit! Recording for our new song is progressing smoothly, alongside our summer festival preparations! As Kanami mentioned on X, Kobato is also increasingly participating in guitar recordings, and you can really feel her effort and growth through the sound...! I was truly moved! Every day I feel so fortunate to be in a band with bandmates who are constantly growing and pushing each other to improve 😍 And preparations for the Budokan are progressing smoothly! I have so many things I want to share with everyone, from my performances to my new songs, so please look forward to it! Let's continue to have fun together! This was AKANE! Bye-bye!
