👀 3 things the market missed this week 📉 A routing bug took Solana 86% of the way to losing finality on Wednesday. A top-10 chain nearly stopped producing blocks and SOL still finished the week up 2.9%. Either the risk is underpriced, or the market now treats near-outages as routine. 👥 Bitwise cut 14% of staff. Not a trading desk, an ETF issuer. Which means management fees at current volumes don't cover what everyone assumed they would in 2024. That changes the math for the whole industry. 💰 Wintermute is putting $1B into AI data centers. Market makers see order flow before anyone else does. When one of them moves that much capital out, it's not diversification. It's a read on where the yield actually is. The firms with the clearest view of where money moves are moving theirs somewhere else. 📈 App | 📷 Insta | ✖ X

➡️ The regulatory path just got narrower. Here’s the situation: 1️⃣ Bitcoin is trading around $63,163, down about 1.8% on the week and stuck in a tight range between $62,800 and $63,700. Traders are calling this the quietest tape since 2019, with perpetual futures activity at a three-year low. • PPI came in softer than expected yesterday and pushed the S&P 500 above 7,800 for the first time, but bitcoin didn’t follow. 2️⃣ The SEC canceled its long-awaited Reg Crypto proposal, postponing the meeting without setting a new date. This was the framework Chair Atkins had positioned as the agency’s own path forward if Congress stalled on the Clarity Act. With the Senate vote now pushed to September 15 and the SEC route shelved indefinitely, both regulatory tracks the market was watching are stuck. That removes the last near-term catalyst on the policy side. 3️⃣ Tether completed its first full audit, with KPMG issuing a clean opinion on the financials backing $180 billion in USDT. This has been one of the longest-running open questions in crypto, and the timing matters: stablecoin regulation is being actively debated in Washington, and Tether now has third-party verification from a Big Four firm to bring into that conversation. 💸 Bitcoin did almost nothing this week. It sat near $63,000 the whole way, the kind of flat chart that makes people stop checking their apps. But the calm was only on the surface. 💰 More than $750 million flowed into spot Bitcoin ETFs, with not one day of outflows. Goldman Sachs paid $2.25 billion for a crypto fund manager. The big money kept showing up. The price just didn't show it. 👀 Watching: "Price has barely moved. Feels like one of those slow weeks." 🤔 Thinking: "The chart is flat, but three-quarters of a billion walked into ETFs and Goldman wrote a $2.25 billion check. Who keeps buying this hard when price isn't moving?" The quiet weeks where money moves but price doesn't often matter more than the loud ones. 💬 Do you read this as the market catching its breath, or big players quietly loading up? 📈 App | 📷 Insta | ✖ X

🟢 CPI came in as expected, and the market shrugged. Here’s why: 1️⃣ Bitcoin is trading around $63,800, up about 1.5% on the week after dipping below $64,000 following yesterday’s inflation data. • U.S. CPI came in at 3.4% year-over-year, exactly in line with forecasts and down from 3.5%. • September rate hike odds dropped to 38%, down from around 54% last week. The problem is that a soft print was already priced in, so there was nothing left to rally on. • ETF flows reflected the mood with roughly $61 million in outflows yesterday. 2️⃣ Liquid staking governance tokens led the market this week, up nearly 12%, with SocialFi and Oracle close behind. The catalyst may be structural: Ethereum staking has climbed to 34% of total supply, and Fidelity filed to add staking with quarterly payouts to its $900 million ether ETF. When staking yield becomes accessible through a regulated wrapper, the protocols managing that yield tend to get repriced. 3️⃣ Roughly $15 billion in bitcoin has been moved to new addresses since the Coldcard exploit surfaced, as holders relocate funds out of potentially compromised wallets. New address creation has spiked alongside it. That is a significant volume of coins changing custody in a short window, and it explains part of the unusual on-chain activity this week. Security incidents rarely move price directly, but they do change how a large share of holders behave. Stay sharp. Nothing in this material constitutes investment or financial advice. 💸 Bitcoin’s long liquidations hit a 2-year low. 📉 Average daily long liquidations fell to just $7.5M last week, the lowest level since July 2024. ⚖️ The decline partly reflects Bitcoin’s low volatility and range-bound price action, but it also means bulls are facing less forced selling pressure. Could calmer derivatives markets give Bitcoin room to move higher? ◀️ MORE INSIGHTS ▶️ 📈 App | 📷 Insta | ✖ X

🖥 Everything is on hold until 3:30 p.m. EDT. Here’s the picture: 1️⃣ Bitcoin is trading around $63,600, down about 1% over the past week. • U.S. CPI for July lands this afternoon, forecast at 3.4% year-over-year versus 3.5% prior. • ETF flows were effectively neutral yesterday at roughly $5 million in inflows, a sharp cooldown from last week’s $854 million run. Nobody wants to take a position before the number. 2️⃣ Humanity (H) and Flow (FLOW) both gained over 10% in the past 24 hours. Humanity’s move fits a broader pattern, with the decentralized identity sector up 4.6% over the past week as one of the stronger performers. The wider altcoin market added roughly $4 billion yesterday, so the recovery is holding even with bitcoin sliding. 3️⃣ Corporate treasury enthusiasm for bitcoin is visibly shifting toward AI infrastructure. Riot Platforms signed a reported $9.1 billion compute deal with Anthropic, Keel shut down all its U.S. bitcoin mining to pivot fully into AI, and Bitdeer is moving the same direction. • Meanwhile Trump Media booked a $360.6 million unrealized loss on digital assets for the first half. Companies that were buying bitcoin as a treasury play last year are now finding better returns in data centers, and that removes a demand source the market had come to rely on. Stay sharp. 💸 Bitcoin’s market structure remains mixed. 📈 Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $853.5M in net inflows last week, their strongest week since April. 📉 Long-term holder supply fell by nearly 100,000 BTC, suggesting increased distribution into weakness. ⚖️ Smaller wallets reduced their holdings by more than 40,000 BTC, worth around $2.6B, pointing to weaker retail conviction. Our latest Bitcoin Impact Index explores what these signals could mean for Bitcoin’s next move. ◀️ FULL ANALYSIS ▶️ 📈 App | 📷 Insta | ✖ X

➡️ The geopolitical picture shifted overnight. Here’s where things stand: 1️⃣ Bitcoin dropped to $64,081, down from around $65,900 late last week, with 24-hour volume jumping 44% on the move. The trigger came from Iran: Trump declared the Strait of Hormuz open under U.S. Navy control and demanded compensation from Tehran for American casualties. The negotiation track has stalled, and Brent crude is heading toward $90. • ETF flows reversed alongside it, posting $145 million in outflows yesterday after five straight positive sessions that totaled roughly $854 million. 2️⃣ The SEC has scheduled a meeting to propose Reg Crypto, a new framework covering how certain digital asset offerings would be regulated. This is the path SEC Chair Atkins hinted at two weeks ago when he said the agency was prepared to act if Congress stalled. With the Clarity Act vote now set for September 15, the market may end up with two competing frameworks arriving within weeks of each other. 3️⃣ Vitalik Buterin published Ethereum’s updated roadmap, placing privacy and quantum resistance at the center of the network’s long-term direction. The shift follows growing industry attention to quantum risk, including the Bitcoin Security Consortium formed last month. For Ethereum, the practical question is whether these changes can ship without disrupting the staking and rollup ecosystem that has built up around the current architecture. Stay sharp. 🗓 Good start to the week, but there's plenty to track. Here's what matters: 1️⃣ Bitcoin is trading at $64,971, up 3.78% over the past week after briefly touching $65,250 this morning. • ETF inflows for last week totaled roughly $854 million, the best weekly result since April, with five consecutive positive sessions. • The focus now shifts to Wednesday's U.S. CPI print, forecast at 3.4% year-over-year, down from 3.5%. After Friday's negative jobs report, a soft inflation number would build the case for the Fed holding rates in September. 2️⃣ BIP-110, a proposed Bitcoin soft fork that would restrict access to long-dormant coins as a precaution against future quantum computing risks, attempted activation over the weekend. Supporters split onto a minority chain, which mined two blocks before stalling as the main network moved ahead. The proposal remains contested within the Bitcoin community, and the weekend outcome does not settle the underlying debate about how the network should handle dormant supply. 3️⃣ Senate Majority Leader Thune moved to force a floor vote on the Clarity Act, locking in September 15 as the date. That is a meaningful shift from last week, when the bill looked shelved indefinitely with passage odds around 15%. A confirmed date gives the market something concrete to price, and it puts crypto's federal framework back on the calendar after months of uncertainty. Stay sharp. 🖥 Friday morning, and the market has a lot to digest. Here's what's going on: 1️⃣ Bitcoin is holding near $64,700 after pulling back to $64,100 overnight. Two things drove the move: Iran denied ongoing negotiations with the U.S., and the Hormuz deal that markets had been pricing as a positive turned out to restrict rather than open the strait to U.S. and Israeli vessels. The geopolitical risk premium is back. NFP lands today at 3:30 p.m. EDT, forecast at 85,000 — up from June’s 57,000. ETF inflows came in at $129 million on Thursday, a fourth consecutive positive session, though the pace has been slowing each day. 2️⃣ The ADA price surged by nearly 20% in a week amid growing optimism about the network’s long-term roadmap and increased whale accumulation. Other top weekly gainers include ENA, PUMP, and ALGO, reaching adding more than 12% in a week. 3️⃣ The Clarity Act is officially delayed until the Senate’s fall session, with Senate Majority Leader Thune confirming no vote before the August recess. Galaxy Research now puts passage odds at 15% for 2026. The bill had been the market’s main regulatory catalyst all year. At 15%, it is essentially priced out of this year’s narrative — and the market reacted accordingly, with BTC sliding to $64,300 on the news before partially recovering. Stay sharp. 🚨 A firmware bug that sat quietly in Coldcard wallets since 2021 let attackers drain more than $110 million in bitcoin from over 5,200 wallets. 🔒 Coldcard is a cold wallet, the kind that never connects to the internet and gets marketed as the safest way to hold bitcoin. The bug made the keys on some devices predictable enough to guess without ever touching the hardware. 👀 Watching: "If even cold storage can be drained, maybe self-custody isn't as safe as everyone says. Perhaps keeping coins on an exchange is the safer option after all." 🤔 Thinking: "The wallets that got hit were single-key setups made on the buggy firmware. Multisig wallets, the ones that need more than one key to approve a move, weren't touched. So did cold storage fail here, or did one way of generating randomness fail?" 🏃‍♂️ After FTX, people fled exchanges for self-custody. This week some are running the other way. 💬 Do you think the Coldcard exploit is a problem with self-custody itself, or with one specific way it was done? 📈 App | 📷 Insta | ✖ X

🔈 The calm before Friday. Here’s what’s moving today: 1️⃣ Bitcoin is holding near $64,450, essentially flat over the past 24 hours. • ETF inflows came in at $244 million on Wednesday, the third consecutive strong session, bringing the three-day total to roughly $690 million. • Jobless Claims came in at 199,000 this morning, slightly better than the 203,000 forecast — a mild positive signal heading into tomorrow’s Nonfarm Payrolls. Markets are in wait-and-see mode, and the price action reflects it. 2️⃣ BitGo is moving $7.4 billion in Wrapped Bitcoin from LayerZero to Chainlink’s cross-chain infrastructure, pushing the total industry migration from LayerZero to Chainlink to roughly $14.6 billion. The shift follows a $292 million exploit on KelpDAO earlier this year, which exposed a structural vulnerability in how LayerZero’s security model could be configured. 3️⃣ Solana validators are backing a proposal that would increase daily SOL burns from roughly $47,000 to $650,000 — more than a tenfold increase. The mechanism ties burns to network activity, meaning higher usage means more SOL removed from supply. If passed, it would be the most aggressive deflationary change Solana has made and could shift how the market thinks about SOL’s long-term supply dynamics. Stay sharp. 📊 Bitcoin accounted for 42.9% of total crypto trading volume in July — its highest share since Q1 2023. ⚖️ Historically, rising Bitcoin trading dominance has often appeared during the later stages of bear markets, as capital rotates away from altcoins. 🛡️ Could traders become even more defensive? ◀️ MORE INSIGHTS HERE ▶️ 📈 App | 📷 Insta | ✖ X
