Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O sacred Virgin; give me strength against thine enemies. NOVENA to the IMMACULATE HEART of MARY To be said once a day for nine days, especially starting on August 13 and ending on August 21, the eve of the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Begins today at Christus Reignat ~ https://t.me/RexUniversi
Resolutions 5. (continued) Finally, you will learn to see in all things, even in those most painful to nature, the will of God offering you opportunities to acquire merit; and in those who cause you suffering, only the instruments of this same merciful providence. You will then no longer think of repulsing or bewailing them, but will bless and thank your divine Saviour for having chosen you to bear with Him the burden of His cross, and for deigning to hold to your lips the precious chalice of His passion. ~ Light and Peace, R.P. Quadrupani, Barnabite (1904), written in 1795. Sedes Sapientiæ, ora pro nobis. Seat of Wisdom, pray for us.
Words of Our Lady "Do you wish to offer yourselves to God to endure all the sufferings that He may be pleased to send you, as both an act of reparation for the sins with which He is offended and an act of supplication for the conversion of sinners?" ~ Our Lady of Fatima
Christian remember that thou hast today virtues to ask for. Sacrifice Do you extend your MORNING OFFERING throughout the day? Indulgences FOR DAILY WORK A partial indulgence is granted to 1) That individual among the faithful who, in carrying out his duties and bearing with the trials of life, raises his mind in humble trust to God, adding — even mentally —some pious invocation; 2) That individual among the faithful who, led by a spirit of faith, mercifully expends himself or his goods in the service of needy brethren; 3) That individual among the faithful who, in a spirit of penance, freely abstains from something licit and pleasing to himself. Enchiridion Indulgentiarum, 1968 As found in the pamphlet Fatima and the “Way of Divine Love”
“Come to Me, all!” Words of Our Lord “When you awake, enter at once into My Heart, and when you are deep down in It, offer My Father all your actions united to the pulsations of My Heart. Unite all your actions to Mine, so that it will no longer be you, but I, that act in you.” ~ Our Lord to Sister Josefa Menéndez The Way of Divine Love, 1949, pg. 110 Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.
Sayings of the Saints “Blessed be you, my God, for having created me.” ~ St. Clare of Assisi St. Clare of Assisi, pray for us.
Resolutions 5. When the results of this first resolution shall have become a habit, so that you no longer have any difficulty in keeping it, you can take a step forward. Propose, for instance, to repress promptly every thought capable of agitating you, or of arousing interior anger; afterwards you can adopt the practice of meeting without annoyance persons who are naturally repugnant to you; then of being able to treat with especial kindness those of whom you have reason to complain. (continued) ~ Light and Peace, R.P. Quadrupani, Barnabite (1904), written in 1795. Sedes Sapientiæ, ora pro nobis. Seat of Wisdom, pray for us.
St. Clare renounced all her worldly goods, in spite of the opposition of her family; she received the penitential habit from the hands of St. Francis of Assisi, and founded the Second Franciscan Order (“Poor Clares”). Sayings of the Saints “My children, St. Philomena has great power with God, and she has, moreover, a kind heart; let us pray to her with confidence. Her virginity and generosity in embracing her heroic martyrdom have rendered her so agreeable to God that He will never refuse her anything that she asks for us.” ~ St. John Vianney St. Philomena, pray for us. Resolutions 4. For example, if your ruling passion be anger, simply propose to yourself in the beginning never to speak when you feel irritated. Renew this resolution two or three times during the day and ask God's pardon for every time you have failed against it. ~ Light and Peace, R.P. Quadrupani, Barnabite (1904), written in 1795. Sedes Sapientiæ, ora pro nobis. Seat of Wisdom, pray for us.

Resolutions 3. In order to attack it successfully it is essential to make use of strategy. It must be approached little by little, besieged with great caution as if it were the stronghold of an enemy, and the outposts taken one after another. ~ Light and Peace, R.P. Quadrupani, Barnabite (1904), written in 1795. Sedes Sapientiæ, ora pro nobis. Seat of Wisdom, pray for us.
