Raise your daughter to know her self worth and believe in herself. It's one of the most precious gifts you could give her... ~bi'itnillah
“Basically, most parents are afraid of disciplining their children because they are afraid of the power struggle. They are afraid of overpowering the child, afraid they will destroy the child’s free will and personality. This is an erroneous attitude. “ –Magda Gerber Passive parents often give too many choices, overanalyze or respond ambiguously when children need a definitive, honest intervention. In the extreme, when a child hits a peer her parent might ask her, “Was that a good choice?” (Hard to believe, but I know someone who witnessed this.) Every tear a child sheds goes straight to the sensitive parent’s heart. But no matter how caring these parents are, the child’s testing continues. It has to, because the child is still not getting the help she needs. “There is no way over-indulged children are going to be happy, because they seldom get direct, honest responses from their parents. …When you say “No,” really mean it. Let your face and posture reflect “No” as well” –Gerber These children might seem adrift and uncomfortable much of the time. There may be a lot of demanding, crying and whining rather than healthy coping and resilience, which can send even the kindest, gentlest, most loving parents over the edge. “How could our child keep pushing us when we are so loving, kind and respectful?” But the child’s behavior is not in spite of the parent’s efforts to please, or their gentle, peaceful attitude. It is because of it. If this passive approach continues, these children can become unpleasant company, not only for their parents, but for their peers, teachers, family and friends. “A positive goal to strive for when disciplining would be to raise children we not only love, but in whose company we love being.” –Gerber Guess which of these two discipline approaches I have more experience helping parents with? That might be because “follow the child” philosophies like the one I teach (Magda Gerber’s Educaring Approach) can confuse parents about their role. Parents are encouraged to respect their babies, trust them to develop skills naturally according to their inborn timetable and lead play. As facilitators of these aspects of child development, rather than teachers, we learn to observe, practice staying out of the way. But this must not be confused with passivity — it is mindfulness.

e. Paradise) is for the Muttaqun (pious)” (Ta-ha:132) It is obligatory for you to take the responsibility of nurturing your children and that you set aside for them time, and that you are good to them and that you better your manners, you play with them sometimes and show them affection and this is something very important, perhaps the enemies of al-Islam may show them affection and take them from a persons very hands. Like this you remove them from evil companions Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an “Then they will turn to one another, mutually questioning. A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death). "(That) when we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed (be raised up) to receive reward or punishment (according to our deeds)?” (The man) said: "Will you look down?” So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire.” (as-Saffaat-50-55) Meaning in the middle of the Hell Fire, a righteous man said "He said: "By Allah! You have nearly ruined me.” (as-Saffaat-56) you have nearly destroyed me with you “"Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell).” (as-Saffaat-57) "Friends on that Day will be foes one to another except Al-Muttaqun (pious)” (azh-Zukhfruf-67) It is obligatory to stay away and for your children to stay away from evil companions because they will busy an individual (with evil things) and enter doubts upon him, and Allah's aid is sought. Then after that you occupy your son with good, either by memorizing the Qur'an, and if he attends school then either by occupy him with something from the short Ahadeeth like "The best of you are those who learn the Qur'an then teach it" (Bukhaari on the authority of Uthmaan) or the likes of when a man said "O Messenger of Allah advise me "he said "Do not get angry" (Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurayrah) also like "The worldly life is a prison for the believer and paradise for the disbeliever" (Muslim on the authority of Abu Hurayrah) like this, short narrations will aid a person in his memorization. In the very beginning we use to have about ONE HUNDRED students and ONE teacher. What did he use to do? Busy them like this: "O children write the Hadeeth" The Dunyah is a prison for the believer and paradise for the disbeliever and after they write it (and then the teacher says) "Who mesmerized the Hadeeth?" They stand up up saying I memorized it! I memorized it! The children stand, the Hadeeth is still visible in their minds (from writing it). Indeed we are responsible for them in front of Allah "O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded.” (Tahreem-6) It is obligatory upon the Mother, the Father and the family to cooperate in upbringing all of their children. The righteous Mother is preparing and aiding you and disburdening you when you are preoccupied from teaching your child, she is teaching and cultivating him. From where do you choose the Ahadeeth (Narrations)? From Kitaab ul-Adab from Saheeh al-Bukhaari and Kitaab ul-Adab from Sunan Abi Dawud and something amazing from Kitab ul-Adab from Sunan Abi Dawud and like this, Adab al-Mufrad from Sahih ul-Bukhaari and Lu' Lu' wal-Marjaan, a person should choose from them narrations which are befitting for the family and after this it is not befitting that we deprive the women and girls and make them as some of the tribes do, having no care for her (Islamic education and upbringing) rather it is obligatory that we fear Allah regarding her and cultivate her and do well in choosing a righteous husband for her. I ask Allah to give us the ability to do that which he likes and is pleased with. Answered by Shaykh Muqbil Ibn Hadi al-Waadi'ee رحمه الله in his book Aakhir Fataawa page 382-386 الشيخ مقبل بن هادي الوادعي رحمه الله h
Amazing advice from Shaykh Muqbil the Muhaddith of Yemen on the upbringing and nurturing of your children which should be written in gold Question: We would like advice around nurturing children? Answer: All praise be to Allah and may the peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to proceed. The upbringing of children is from the important affairs and problematic. As for it being important that is because the child takes from whomsoever he mixes with, if his father is a singer then he will not hear except his father singing and if his father is a author then from the very start he will will have a sheet of paper and pen drawing in a notebook until he fills up the notebook. We say it's like this, if his father is a officer and you were to say to him: "What would you like to be?" He will say "I would like to be a officer" and if his father is a Scholar and you were to ask him "what would you like to be?" he would say "I would like to be a Scholar" this is in his childhood before he begins to mingle in the streets. Then after that you have the story of Luqman, and in it is guidance for the children “O my son! Aqim-is-Salat (perform As-Salat), enjoin (people) for Al-Ma’ruf (Islamic Monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief in the Oneness of Allah, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befalls you. Verily!" (Luqman:17) These are some of the important commandments ordered by Allah with no exemption. In Bukhaari and Muslim, the Hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah who narrated on the Prophet ﷺ he said (The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Every child is born upon a natural disposition (i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone) and his parents convert him to Judaism or Christianity or Magianism (Fire Worshipping), as an animal delivers a perfect baby animal. Do you find it mutilated?" And in Saheeh Muslim the Prophet ﷺ said narrating on his lord ﷻ "I have created all of My servants naturally inclined to worship one God but it is the devils who turn them away from their religion;" It is binding upon one to be cautious of evil companions for your son and your daughter “And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger ( Muhammad ﷺ. Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a friend! "He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Qur'an) after it had come to me. And Shaitan (Satan) is ever a deserter to man in the hour of need.” (al-Furqan 27-29) The affair of sitting with the people of goodness aids the person himself and his children, in Bukhari and Muslim on the authority of Abi Musa رضي الله عنه "The example of a good pious companion and an evil one is that of a person carrying musk and another blowing a pair of bellows. The one who is carrying musk will either give you some perfume as a present, or you will buy some from him, or you will get a good smell from him, but the one who is blowing a pair of bellows will either burn your clothes or you will get a bad smell from him." Perhaps a child will not return from the streets except with foul speech. Even teaching the children is exhausting, you (might) beat him severely yet he forgets quickly and returns to playing just like he was (before his beating). It is a problem from the many problems but it is OBLIGATORY upon an individual to give importance to the upbringing of his children. I feel remorseful for many people, you will find one going from masjid to masjid city to city, not caring about the upbringing of his children, he leaves his child until his mustache appears then he begins to clash with him at that time. It's obligatory to to give it importance from the very beginning and strive in keeping company with the righteous. " And enjoin As-Salat (the prayer) on your family, and be patient in offering them [i.e. the Salat (prayers)]. We ask not of you a provision (i.e. to give Us something: money, etc.); We provide for you. And the good end (i.

What to do with an aborted embryo. Question: In a triple pregnancy (three fetuses), one fetus died at 12 weeks of gestation. Another died one week later (13 weeks of gestation). The third fetus continues to evolve, it is currently in the 23 weeks, and doctors consider that it has great chances of being born alive insha'Allah. When this baby will born, the dead fetuses will also be born. What should be done with them? ? Have we to wash and bury them? May Allah reward you with goodness Shaikh Waleed Boghdady: May Allah grant the third a safe birth. There is no ghusl for them, but wrap them in a shroud and bury them. ri0622
Teaching children Quran through actions Question: I would like to know if teaching kids small surahs with actions permissible in Islam. Goal is to make the kids have a visual memory and understand the meaning of the Surah by these actions (specially the non Arab kids). May Allah bless you. Zaynab El-Kateb: The Scholars say this is an innovation, so it is prohibited. ri0567
Going to the beach. Question: السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته May Allah protect you, I would like to know if is it allowed to go to the beach in Morocco with my jilbab and niqab. وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته Shaikh Waleed Boghdady: There is nothing wrong with the beach itself, but what is haram is to keep in this beach if there are haram things there, for example free mixing, or naked people (either women or men), so in this case you are not allowed to stay in that beach. ri0064

Question: Is it permissible to adorn young boys with gold and silver if they are under 2 years of age? Shaykh ʿAbd al-Azeez bin ʿAbdullah bin Baaz رحمه الله It is absolutely NOT permissible for young boys to wear gold, even if they are younger than two years of age. Gold is permissible for females and is prohibited for males, whether it is rings, watches or other than that. It is not permissible to place gold on a young boy, just as it is not permissible for a grown man to wear it. Rather gold is for women only. http://dusunnah.com/article/is-it-allowed-to-adorn-boys-as-young-as-2-with-gold-shaykh-ibn-baz/ https://t.me/salaffiyahparenting
🔹Constructing a model of the Kabah to teach the kids: Explained by Shaykh Uthaymeen (رحمه الله) ▪️Question: O noble Shaykh there are some teachers who explain to their students the description of Hajj and Umrah; but they say the students are not able to comprehend or fully grasp it. So is it permissible to make a three-dimensional Kabah—in the school— along with the other rites of Hajj, such that they can apply practical application? ▫️Answer: There is no problem with this; with the condition that he goes into a state of Ihram! He should wear the garment of Ihram! And when he performs Tawaf around this three dimensional figure he should walk at a brisk trot for the first three units! And he should make a station behind it; and say this is the station of Ibrahim! What kind of speech is this?! This is absolutely not befitting to do. He is able to draw on the board a four sided Kabah and say: Perform Tawaf like this. As for making a three three-dimensional figure; and I suppose he will turn acts of worship into merely rituals and movements without any affect upon the heart. Do you understand? Therefore you have understood for my sarcastic speech, did you understand that this is permissible or not permissible? ▪️Questioner: It is not permissible. ▫️Answer: Shaykh Uthaymeen: This is not permissible. All praises belong to Allah. This is the intent. Translated by Rasheed ibn Estes Barbee http://bit.ly/2hc15H4 https://t.me/salaffiyahparenting

Are these the reasons that stops you from having more children?! In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy Imaam Muhammad Ibn Saaleh Al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) said: What then is the (reason) behind the call for birth control? Is it out of fear of a straitened livelihood or tiredness from bringing up (children)? If it is the first affair, then this is evil suspicion towards Allaah (The Most High)—and that is because Allaah (The Most High) said: وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِ رِزْقُهَا [And no (moving) living creature is there on earth but its provision is due from Allah] [Hud: Ayah 6] And when Allaah (Glorified Be He) creates a created being He definitely provides for it. Allaah (The Most High) said: وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ دَابَّةٍ لَا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَا اللَّهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ And so many a moving (living) creature there is, that carries not its own provision! Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower] [Ankabut: Ayah 60] And He (The Most High) stated about those who kill their children out of fear of poverty: نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُهُمْ وَإِيَّاكُمْ ۚ [We provide for them and for you] (Israa: Ayah 31)] And if the (reason) behind the call for birth control is out of fear of tiredness due to bringing up children, then this is a mistake; for how many a small number of children are there whose upbringing involves great difficult, and how many children are there whose upbringing is much easier than that of those far smaller than them in number?! So the affair of bringing up children—the difficulty and ease of it—is dependent on ease facilitated by Allaah. And whenever a slave (i.e. the Muslim) fears Allaah and follows the paths of the Islamic legislation, Allaah makes his affair easy. Allaah (The Most High) said: وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ يُسْرًا [And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make his matter easy for him] ————————————————————————————————————————————————————– Slightly Paraphrased: see linkhttp://www.sahab.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=114969 http://masjidfurqan.co.uk/2015/01/31/are-these-the-reasons-that-stops-you-from-having-more-children/?relatedposts_hit=1&relatedposts_origin=3743&relatedposts_position=1 ♻ Share the Knowledge barakallahu fikom 📝For Authentic Reminders Join us @ t.me/salafusaleh 🎙And for audios & videos @audios_videos_manhaj_salafi in sha Allaah.
🛶 *The Best gift from Parent to child* Al Allaamah Zayd bin Haadi Al Madkhalee (rahimahullah) said: 🏖And the best thing that a father can give and present to his son is *teaching him Islamic knowledge and to connect him with the teachings of Islam and also to take care of him in this great affair*, ALONG with safeguarding his body and his character, morals and manners. 🏖And his care is one that should be complete (in every way) and he (the father) is rewarded for it. 💭Therefore, what great reward will he have with Allaah the Blessed and the Most High. And the female child is THE SAME as the male child in regards to the care required from both parents. And this is with regards to the father. 👒As for the mother, then her reward is also according to the good she does for her son and daughter. ‘Awn Al Ahad As Samad Sharh Adabul Mufrad 10/1 http://www.salaficentre.com/2016/05/the-best-gift-from-parent-to-child-shaykh-zayd-bin-haadi/ 🚥 https://t.me/IslamiCreed
