Partial Lunar Eclipse in Shatabhisha Nakshatra 27-28 August 2026 During the upcoming Partial Lunar Eclipse the Sun will be occupying Magha Nakshatra (sidereal Leo), accompanied by Ketu, while partially eclipsed Moon will shine in Shatabhisha (sidereal Aquarius), accompanied by Rahu. During the peak Sun and Moon will be also almost perfectly squared by a distant Uranus, while Mercury will be less than one degree away from the Sun. These combined influences can create a strong urge to innovate, go against the current and revolutionise something in your life or your environment. It may feel in the upcoming two weeks that the old structures no longer work and have to be reworked, in order to make space for something more aligned. Before this rare planetary alignment takes place you may experience a lot of frustration with how things are now and a strong need to free yourself from some of the old burdens or limitations that have been weighing on you. You may feel lonely or misunderstood about something.

Total Solar Eclipse in Ashlesha Nakshatra - begins in 1 hour 💫 During Total Solar Eclipse the Moon temporarily slides in between the Sun and the Earth. The two luminaries and our planet are during total eclipse in such a perfect alignment that the lunar disc covers the Sun completely. The Sun doesn’t go anywhere - but its light simply becomes temporarily covered. In the same way how our inner light sometimes gets covered by the shadows of fear, anger, desire or old wounds, which can make us feel disconnected form our true self for a moment.
