Update on Drop revenue distribution 💧 Drop Protocol will distribute 42,000 ATOM from the treasury to Droplets Program participants. Eligible users will be able to claim via the Drop UI starting January 23. An update will be shared when claims open.

dTIA update 💧 Following the Celestia upgrade and final testing, dTIA is live again: → Deposits and withdrawals running normally → Unbonding period is 14 days

Update on Drop’s wind-down process Following the wind-down announcement on November 13, the Droplets Program has now formally concluded and Droplets are no longer accumulating. As a way to reward those who provided liquidity, a part of Drop’s protocol revenue will be distributed to Droplets Program participants (snapshot taken on November 13). More details on distribution, timing and claiming process will be shared once finalized. In the meantime, Drop remains in active conversations with several teams regarding potentially taking over dAsset maintenance and is coordinating an organized process to assess these options. Drop is winding down operations After a careful review of the protocol’s trajectory and today’s market environment, Drop has made the difficult decision to begin an orderly wind-down. This was not taken lightly. Drop contributors still believe deeply in the Interchain vision, but current conditions no longer support a sustainable path forward for the protocol. The wind-down process will be handled responsibly and transparently with care for all users, partners, and contributors. Hi everyone! Following yesterday’s note about TIA staking and unstaking being re-enabled soon, there has been a change in Celestia’s timeline. The fix has now been pushed to their next release, expected next week. Until then, staking and unstaking remain disabled. Apologies for the changing timelines and the confusion, another update will be shared as soon as Celestia confirms progress.

TIA update: As many of you my have noticed, a recent upgrade issue on Celestia’s side affecting Interchain Accounts has caused both staking and unstaking to be disabled. The Celestia team has delivered a fix, and Drop is now verifying the state of the protocol before re-enabling staking and unstaking. The current ETA is around 3 days, you’ll be notified once it's done.

One year on mainnet 💧 Wen TGE? Pending legal review, the forecast says September. Drop is doing everything possible to make it happen, but please wait for the official date announcement. Droplets Phase Two ends with TGE. Expect roadmap, tokenomics & more in the coming weeks.
