The pie charts show information about the proportions of energy consumed by different sectors in Eastern Europe from 2007 to 2010. Overall, it is clear that while some sectors experienced positive and negative patterns, most of them remained the same. Notably, although residential and agriculture have not seen a change in their shares, they persisted in their roles as the highest and lowest consumers by the last year in question. Starting with the figures that stayed stable in both years, residential led the chart, consuming 28% of the energy, followed by commercial (23%). Transport and agriculture accounted for relatively smaller proportions, registering respective figures of 1% and 0.8%. Turning to the sectors with growth, “other metals” accounted for 12.30% of electricity use, while mining required 9.4% in 2007. By the second year, 2010, the former had a pronounced growth of six percentage points, reaching 18.30%; however, the latter grew by merely 0.4%—to 9.4%. Finally, as far as the consumers that experienced a negative trend are concerned, aluminum displayed 13.2%, and the manufacturing fell short of it by 0.5%, making up 12.7%, in the first year. Both of the sectors underwent a decrease in 2010, standing at 11% and 8.5%, respectively.

The table compares how much money was invested in the development of technology by charities in the US, EU, and other countries from 2006 to 2010. Units are measured in US dollars. Overall, donated money from all countries increased, with the US showing the highest growth. It had the largest capital throughout the timeframe in question, while the reverse is true for other countries. Ironically, the only year when the EU and other countries had a decrease in the amount of donations was 2009, and both displayed somewhat comparable figures during the period. The US exhibited the largest sum of money, 9.7 billion, in 2006; it progressively rose to 22.7 billion, making up most of the total amount gathered. As far as the figures with less donations are concerned, EU countries stood at 3.3 billion, followed by others at 2.7 billion. Both showed a positive trend, reaching respective figures of 3.8 and 3.1 billion in 2008; however, in the following year, they declined to 3.7 and 2.6. Yet, they both recovered and reached 4 and 3.3 billion in 2010, respectively. Finally, while at the beginning the total amount of money received was 15.7 billion, it nearly doubled-30 billion-by the end.

There are several factors that motivate people to stay in the workforce, and money is the most important reason/factor. To what extent do you agree or disagree? There is a common perception revolving around the topic of work: among a number of motivations for work, it is believed that money is the most paramount drive. While money provides us with basic necessities and a comfortable life, I adamantly disagree with this notion, as job satisfaction and a happy job circle make up more in terms of the factors. Admittedly, money can actually be seen as a main factor for workers to keep going. First of all, in today's world, it is hard to make a living through non-profits or jobs with low wages. Many people view money as greed; however, it is not always the case. In fact, many people work to cover their basic needs, such as shelter, utilities, and healthcare; so if their salary does not cover these basics, no amount of fun at work matters. Furthermore, many people stay at dead-end jobs although they are monotonous because of the long-term vision they have; they may have been saving up for their children's education or their retirement, securing sustained financial stability. Nevertheless, I contend that there are a plethora of other elements to take into account while choosing a job other than a sole focus on money matters. Although money gets people to take a job, it rarely keeps them there if they are miserable, burnt out, or bored. Many people usually take pay cuts to escape environments-such as a toxic boss or a hostile team-that take a detrimental toll on people's mental health. Thus, if someone chooses a job free of these negative characteristics while having a lower paycheck, he or she will be completely free of chaos related to the profession. Additionally, many people are driven by the desire to do good. Teachers, healthcare workers, and freelancers are good case points , as they feel a deep responsibility to their community ; enduring demanding lower-paying jobs, they persist to work in those fields. In conclusion , even though money can be a good perk to focus on while landing jobs , as it supplies people with decent monetary capabilities and ensures a solid future, I firmly dispute that idea, as other factors such as a healthy work environment and internal desire should be taken into account while applying for jobs.

The bar chart gives information about the proportions of recycled household garbage in a particular city from 1992 to 2002. Overall, all of the categories in question increased to varying degrees. Glass, although initiating the chart with a lower figure, showed the most pronounced growth, surpassing all of the categories by the end of the timeframe. Meanwhile, plastic stood as the least recycled material most of the time. Notably, glass and paper had identical figures at the start, and both followed a somewhat similar trajectory. Starting with the waste materials that showed the highest figures in general, glass and paper showed around 15% in 1992, and both of them jumped by 1997 to roughly 31% and 28%. In the last year, the latter showed the chart-high of 48%, overtaking the former at just under 40%. Turning to the waste products that showed smaller percentages, 18% of all disposed cans were recycled in 1992, nearly two times as much as plastic (10%). Plastic showed a marginal growth and levelled off at 13% till the end of the period. Conversely, figures for the cans dipped to the same percentage as that of plastic in 1997 and bounced back to around 22% in 2002.

Some people believe that schoolchildren should be allowed to make decisions about the school rules, while others think that teachers should be responsible for making the rules. Discuss both views and give your opinion. There is a heated controversy regarding who should be responsible for making rules at school, with some arguing that students should be consulted and be able to impose rules, while others hold the view that teachers should be responsible for doing so. Although doing this task improves the soft skills of students, they may be prone to making shallow decisions because they don't have as much experience as mentors do. On the one hand, there may be several reasons why proponents believe that students should have more agency, compared to teachers, on school rulemaking. First and foremost, when students make interventions while drafting the rules, they feel a sense of ownership and autonomy. This often leads to higher compliance because rules are seen as more of a far-fetched idea than imposed, fostering negotiation and critical thinking skills. Moreover, school is often seen as the ultimate training for adulthood. If a student never practises making labyrinthine decisions, they may enter society as if they were stepping into a fight without any armour. Having learnt that a rule may benefit or harm a particular group at the same time, students develop collaborative problem-solving. However, there may be other factors why others, including myself, think that it should mostly be teachers who shoulder the responsibility of establishing rules for school. Firstly, teachers are more uniform and consistent with the kinds of delicate tasks. Teachers provide a standardised framework, ensuring that everyone, be it another teacher or younger and older student, is treated equally. Moreover, the vast majority of the mentors have long-term visions; as a result of their field-related expertise, they understand the pedagogical implications of rules. Students calling for no homework can be a good case in point; at that time a teacher understands its value for gaining and solidifying knowledge, thus not agreeing with them. That said, I am not saying students' perspectives on making a rule should be dismissed and criticized. From my stance, I believe that instead of rejection, collaboration should be put between mentors and the tutees, which ultimately results in the best ruling, benefitting both of them. In conclusion, though many individuals have differing opinions on if students or teachers should take the responsibility of imposing rules, I believe that only if they strike a balance between each other’s intervention and make decisions collectively could they achieve the best outcomes.
