💥💥💥 Sarah Ferguson tried to put Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s ex-girlfriend in touch with Kash Patel, director of the FBI, new files suggested. The former Duchess of York asked a conduit to email Mr Patel’s office in March 2025, the month after he was appointed to lead the US law enforcement and domestic security agency, to pass along contact details for Lady Victoria Hervey, a British socialite. In an email to Mr Patel on March 6, 2025, David Walker, an FBI attaché, said: “Director Patel, The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, reached out and wanted to provide contact information for Victoria Harvey [sic]. Both have staunchly defended the former prince in the wake of allegations regarding his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender who died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. The emails showing Mr Mountbatten-Windsor’s exes trying to get in touch with Mr Patel do not contain any mention of Epstein, but were published by the FBI in a cache of documents titled: “Records regarding the review of the investigative holdings related to Jeffrey Epstein.” The correspondence was sent a year before embarrassing details of both Ms Ferguson’s and Lady Victoria’s close links with Epstein were made public in files released by the US department of justice. The Telegraph revealed in June that these showed Ms Ferguson visited Epstein twice while he was in jail for a child sex offence, and continued to curry favour with him in the following years. Other documents, meanwhile, suggested that Lady Victoria enjoyed a close association with both Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, his longtime confidante, and was accused of “celebrating” the death of an Epstein victim. She was criticised for a social media post suggesting that Virginia Giuffre’s “lies” had “caught up” with her and later retracted the statement, saying suicide was “tragic” in any case.
