Recent surveys and official figures still show only a few million turning up for Easter. Christmas attendance sits between 1-3%. This remains among the lowest levels of actual Christian practice in any country that still claims the faith, including the most secular parts of Western Europe. Official numbers for 2025 put total abortions at roughly 321,000. The rate was once recorded as high as 37.4 per 1,000 women of reproductive age, long among the highest in UN data. The demographic damage from decades of that volume is still visible in the birth rate and the age structure. Life expectancy at birth for women sits near 79.5 years. For men it is about 67.9. The gap is driven by elevated mortality among working-age males from preventable causes. That pattern has been consistent for decades and has not been fixed. Alcohol-related harm remains extreme. Per-capita pure alcohol consumption and the associated death rates continue to place Russia among the worst in Europe. More than 1.2 million people are living with HIV. New diagnoses still number in the tens of thousands each year. Russia continues to account for a disproportionate share of the European epidemic. Homicide numbers remain in the thousands annually. The rate has never returned to the levels of a normal European country. Divorce rates stay high. Family formation is weak. Birth rates are dismal. The ethnic Russian core is shrinking while the state relies on large-scale labour migration from Central Asia and the Caucasus. Thousands of mosques have been built. The Muslim share of the population continues to rise. Moscow itself has one of the largest Muslim populations of any European city. Extreme concentration of wealth in a tiny elite continues. Corruption is the operating system. Independent Russian nationalists are crushed under Article 282 and related statutes. Open National Socialists face prison and in some cases worse. The same state that talks about traditional values imports the demographic replacement and persecutes the people who object to it. People still claim Ukraine is globohomo while Russia is the traditional alternative. That claim does not survive contact with the numbers or the record. Russia’s church attendance, family statistics, male mortality, abortion history, alcohol mortality, HIV burden, elite capture and demographic replacement are severe. Its limited legal measures against certain public displays exist alongside the same elite networks, the same Soviet victory cult, the same importation of non-European labour, and the same active suppression of genuine nationalist organising. Ukrainian National Socialist formations have been fighting the invasion on the ground while building political and cultural infrastructure. Russian National Socialists who know the regime from the inside have joined them rather than the other way around. The Russian side still flies Soviet and anti-fascist iconography and treats open National Socialism as an enemy to be liquidated. The contrast is not subtle. Ask the Russian National Socialists who were born and raised there. Ask the ones who watched Tesak murdered in custody. Ask the ones now fighting with the Russian Volunteer Corps or alongside Azov. They do not need Westerners who have never lived under the system explaining to them that the Kremlin is somehow the lesser evil. The psychology of the Russian state is anti-Western power politics first, not coherent traditionalism. If the West ever moved in a genuinely racial-national direction the same apparatus would oppose it for the same reasons it opposes Ukrainian Nationalists today. The sacred myth of the Soviet victory over the Axis remains central. That is not a traditional European identity. It is the identity of the force that crushed the last serious attempt to secure a White future on the continent. 🇬🇪 Today, we remember Giorgi Antsukhelidze, a National Hero of Georgia and a true knight who fought against Russian aggression in 2008. During the 2008 war, Giorgi was captured by Russian forces and subjected to brutal torture. His captors ordered him to step on the Georgian national flag and insult the President of Georgia. He refused. He chose to lose his life rather than surrender his dignity. He refused to comply with the enemy’s demands and was tortured and killed by Russian forces and separatists.
