Most people are beyond stupid & will always fall for the pushed 'based' talking heads. I have zero respect for people who can't stop falling for it. Before you fawn over a talking head of the week, you should look into WHY you're allowed to see them.

She elevated this to a male manager who took the whole thing very seriously until it became clear there were no specific accusations. I only found this out once he'd left. He was a great worker. I still sometimes think of those awful women with a smile on their face pretending to be nice so they could find any excuse to ruin this quiet man, entirely based on a group delusion, who just wanted to work in peace.

An incident with some poor lad I used to work with who was very quiet & shy always sticks in my mind. One of the office girls decided he was a "creep" based on "a feeling" & the other office clucking hens made it self reinforcing. They'd never interacted once. Not even a word. This became so self reinforcing that they'd take turns to mill around his desk & bait interaction, with the express purpose of looking for anything "creepy" they could use to get him sacked as their group delusion had led them to think his presence "made them uncomfortable." The delusion escalated to the point they decided to go to a female manager to express, in non specific terms, that he made them uncomfortable.

This whole news cycle is & always has been potent anti woke slop bait & I'm beginning to wonder if he was a fictional character in every sense.
