It’s with a heavy heart and sadness I share the passing of my Father, Fenn Gerald Fountain at age 84. He was very active in community with sports and activities as a coach of baseball, little league. ( My brother Jerry was very talented in Sports and My Dad enjoyed that mentoring coaching role). After a few years as a Police officer in his early 20s, In Columbus GA he eventually settled into a life long career as a Plant Manager / Industrial engineer role in running Textile plants along with various entrepreneurial ventures. He settled for past 30 plus years with his wife, my Step Mother Jayne in North Carolina. In my role As a public figure and welfare advocate for children my family inadvertedly received unsolicited attention for my advocacy work. This political advocacy mission I took on did cause friction but I was able to over the past year and a half let my Dad and Family know I understood it was a global worldly system that was a threat to us all as we are seeing play out in Hollywood & Politics. If not for the generosity of resources from my father over my early years I would not have become the legislative law reform advocate that I was able to become. He never denied me any healing opportunity I requested and economically provided the resources. I gave this gift of my healing back to society as a path of paying it forward. i loved my father and I know he loved me in spite of my going rogue as an Activist. It had to be hard to have your child’s life made public around such a controversial misunderstood topic instigated by a trusted neighborhood Community Coach. He sent me a message of support for my work and wished me well earlier this year after a few years of estrangement. Please keep his wife, Jayne , My Siblings Jerry, Robert & myself in your prayers along with his 2 Grandchildren Joshua & Bethany, plus 3 Great Grandchildren Hunter, Josh Jr. and Maddy.
