I think that in the current economy, big artists should start supporting smaller artists, and not just only their friends or mutuals with less followers than they have, i mean actual small artists. There are lots of them, sure, myself included. Anyways…

Support small artists! They might be your friend or a random you stumble across the internet. Stop consuming the content the algorithm push to you cause you're not supporting the artists at all – you're supporting those who are being boosted by the platform for years. Yet at the same time there are dozens, hundreds and thousands of creative minds being hidden in the algorithm shadows for years, myself included. Sure, the big artists will also complain about the algo sometimes, but for them those problems are often trivial unlike for those with small audience.

We got 2 truth nukes dropped on twitter this week and it DEFINITELY made the target subjects mad like holy shit These so called "priveledged artists" are trying their best to deny these claims, but in fact the majority of them were never struggling with getting an audience and already had connections with long-term popular artists to begin with

imagine an indie studio making their own GTA... that's nearly impossible due to budget and the development scale. but i still imagine what if there was indie GTA-like game i'm aware of a few cases of such thing, but they're just mostly asset flips and they're nothing if compared to GTA imo
