Crypto Trader Loses $50M Due to Address Poisoning — A trader lost $50 million after copying a fake wallet address from transaction history. After a $50 test transfer, a scammer created a look-alike address with the same first and last characters and poisoned the history. When sending the remaining $49,999,950, the user copied the fake address. The funds went to the attacker, who later swapped them to ETH, split them across wallets, and used Tornado Cash. Always verify the full address. Never copy addresses from transaction history.

AI “Broke” the Office Vending Machine by Giving Away Products for Free At the office of Anthropic, an experiment was conducted where an AI agent, Claudius (based on Claude), was given full control over a vending machine — handling everything from stock purchases to pricing and payment.
