nasdaq took a beating this week, worst drop since april. down 3% on the week. the ai hype bubble is starting to show cracks. big names like tesla, alphabet, and the semiconductor stocks all bleeding out. everyone's finally questioning if these valuations make any sense. consumer sentiment tanking hard too, people are stressed about the government shutdown mess. nasdaq dropped 2% intraday before bouncing back slightly when senate dems floated a shutdown solution. the interesting part? while nasdaq was getting wrecked, S&P and dow held up better. bit of a rotation happening. if this keeps going, we could see a deeper correction in tech. watching 22,500 level closely—that's where things get spicy. a break below that and we're looking at more pain. for now, staying cautious on tech names until this settles.
