Position:- Backup Administrator – Commvault Location:-📍Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (Onsite) Role Summary We are looking for a Backup Administrator with strong hands-on experience in Commvault to manage enterprise backup, restore, data protection, and recovery operations. Key Responsibilities Monitor and troubleshoot daily backup/restore jobs and failures. Administer Commvault CommServe, Media Agents, Storage Policies, Libraries, Clients, and Deduplication. Manage retention policies, backup schedules, storage tiers, and lifecycle management. Perform file, VM, database, and application restore operations. Monitor backup capacity, performance, storage utilization, and deduplication. Manage integration with VMware/Hyper-V, Windows/Linux, SAN/NAS, and cloud storage. Support DR, backup security, encryption, access controls, and compliance. Perform Commvault patching, upgrades, configuration, and optimization. Prepare backup health, SLA, compliance, and incident/RCA reports. Mandatory Skills 3–5 years hands-on Commvault administration. Strong knowledge of Backup & Recovery, RPO/RTO, DR, retention, and deduplication. Experience with Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, SQL/Oracle backups. Knowledge of SAN/NAS, storage, networking, and cloud backup. Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
