#lifelessons This question took me a second read to understand. Shows a true character, doesn't it? I once heard someone say: Our true character isn't what we show to the world, but what we can hide from it. Yet, this isn't about 'playing different roles' in front of others, but the ability to be a better version when you're alone, positivity, and always wishing the better for others around. 📱@Ieltsmost
I just wanted to drop some thoughts about this guy in the movie. Sometimes, the heaviest burdens we carry are the ones we never talk about. He spent years avoiding home. He resented his father. After his mother’s death, speaking to him was the last thing he wanted. His father felt the same. Then decades passed. When they finally faced each other, it didn’t take a grand apology or a dramatic moment. Just a few honest words and a couple of simple acts of kindness. Suddenly, years of anger seemed so small. He realized that everything he had spent his life chasing—his career, success, status—could never replace what had been waiting for him all along: family. Sometimes we don’t need more time. We just need one conversation. And sometimes, it takes an old friend to remind us what truly matters. 📱@Ieltsmost
