Awfully large number of professors have ego issues. It's hard to convince me otherwise. I don't believe you can act like God (God complex/NPD) if you've finished your degree, did academic researches, and can teach. Let's be honest, however big the title of the professor or PhD is, it is big inside the university walls. Professor is somebody who is inspired and passionate by their science and can inspire others too.

American universities versus European universities. I have an interesting observation as a non-EU and non-US citizen about the universities between these major places. Do you know what "Yalie" is? Or may be a "Blue Devil"? These are what students are called from Yale or Duke. When you think of an American higher education institution, almost instantly, you think of a place that has a maximum of its own history, mythology, traditions, and rivals. The "university" isn't limited to an institution that gives higher education. It is a whole social life — the traditions, names for buildings and clock towers, mindblowing stories of drunk students, and famous statues. This all creates a place with a story... with its own mythology. I call it "university culture." I think the reason for this is that in the US, the university aims to create a sense of belonging to a community and continuity. This sets a foundation to the formation of personality parallel to the future career. In Continental Europe, however, you don't have a graduation day. No ceremony. No story. No legends. No sense of belonging to the community. Your diploma is sent through a mail. The relationship with professors is flat and mostly strictly vertical. They don't hold passionate conversations with outstanding students. In Europe, university is seen as a mere institution that teaches discipline with the needed knowledge that gives you a qualification and opportunity for your future job. In Europe, "university culture" usually means night lifestyle, spritz, and Erasmus. Clubs exist, but their presence isn't as spiritually strong as in American colleges. If I give my own opinion, I find European "university culture" very boring and I would rather prefer American. It's because such strong emphasis on culturemaxxing does not necessarily mean a distraction. If it were, US universities would never be so strong. It just makes the whole process colorful and gives warmer memories about one of the best years of your life.

Every single person must know that distribution of leaks for any exam creates unjust scoring. It should not be tolerated.

Tashkent is my friend, whom I also leave every summer. It's always beautiful, better than ever every time I visit during the summer breaks. It has seen me grow, overheard my prayers, witnessed my first love, and shared its beauty when I was down. Thank you, my Rome. I will come back not as a student who will leave, but as a person who will contribute to its growth.

Divorces are inevitable thing in rapidly developing countries. You can not manipulate the data by prolonging the reconciliation period. Yes, from one perspective, it stops young married couples to recklessly re-marry and divorce several times in a few months. But at the same time, the reconciliation period must be minimised. When two grown adults have committed to the divorce and came to the conclusion that there is no future with the partner, it's not up to mahalla kommiteti to decide if it the issue is serious or not. Such forced reconciliation period gives nothing but an increase in domestic violence. It's like a painkiller. It doesn't cure but hides the pain for a while.
