BitMart has announced that trading services are scheduled to stop on August 26, 2026, with the wider platform wind-down continuing afterward. For anyone currently holding $KANG on BitMart, please follow BitMart’s official instructions and move your tokens to your personal wallet within the timelines provided by the exchange. Most importantly, Kangamoon keeps moving forward. Our ecosystem, game, and wider Kangamoon operations are unaffected by BitMart’s decision. We’re continuing the work already underway, including our transition to a new CEX and the broader plans we have for the Kangamoon ecosystem. Kangamoon Community Update 🦘 Over the past few weeks, we’ve been in ongoing discussions with MEXC regarding our listing and the future direction of Kangamoon. From the beginning, our focus has never been short-term optics. We prioritize sustainable growth, long-term durability, and protecting the strength of the Kangaverse ecosystem. As everyone knows, trading volumes fluctuate depending on broader market conditions. We shared context, data, and realistic expectations. We engaged partners and approached discussions professionally. However, the expectation remained that trading activity must consistently match previous levels regardless of overall market sentiment. In addition, proposals were presented that involved distributing significant amounts of tokens to their internal community. We declined. Distributing large amounts of tokens without structured alignment would likely create immediate sell pressure and unnecessary volatility. That does not protect holders. That does not support long-term sustainability. Instead of releasing those tokens as an airdrop, we have decided to permanently lock millions of tokens. Those tokens will never enter circulation. This strengthens the deflationary stance of the project and reinforces our commitment to protecting long-term value. We will not operate under shifting criteria. We will not engage in artificial activity, inflated metrics, or token distributions that compromise the ecosystem. So the decision was clear. We protect Kangamoon. We will be transitioning away from MEXC and positioning ourselves with a centralized exchange that aligns with our long-term vision. A partner that understands growth cycles, proper alignment, and ecosystem durability. This is not a setback. This is strategic repositioning. The process for listing on a new CEX is already underway, and more details will be shared soon. In the meantime, holders can simply withdraw their tokens from MEXC to their DEX wallets to trade on Uniswap and continue CEX trading on BitMart until the new exchange listing goes live. The ecosystem remains active and accessible. Beyond the exchange transition, we are also approaching the next phase of Kangamoon. This includes developments tied to our buyback structure and broader ecosystem strengthening. We are building carefully. We are aligning strategically. We are strengthening the Kangaverse.
