Weekly Newsletter 8/12/2024 Welcome back to another issue of our weekly newsletter! We had a great first week to December, finishing 9.75% up. December is historically an interesting month for Forex traders due to less market volume and overall slower price action. However, we aren’t showing any signs of slowing down at LDG and look to continue finding great trade ideas for everyone in our community.   From my analysis, the DXY remains bullish on the weekly timeframe, but last week it turned bearish on both the daily and 4-hour charts. That being said, I’d like to see a few more daily candle closes before taking action, as there’s currently a lack of synchronicity across USD pairs. Some are bullish while others are bearish. For now, I’ll be observing USD pairs from a distance until we get some clearer price action we can be confident in.   The JPYX is showing much clearer direction, with both the daily and weekly timeframes looking strongly bullish. This is reflected in Japanese Yen pairs like GJ and EJ, which remain aligned with the bullish momentum. There’s no indication of bearish shifts in these pairs, making it easier to align the indexes with individual pairs for higher probability setups this week.   As a more swing-based trader, I don’t like the look of Gold right now. It was consolidating all week and we thought NFP may have changed that, but by the looks of it, it didn’t and we remain stuck in this ranging market. For traders like SFX, he may be able to find lower timeframe plays, however, we’ll be avoiding swing plays this week.   As you all know, WE HAVE MOVED TO DISCORD, meaning this will be the last update from LDG available on Telegram. WEEKLY FORECAST 1/12/24 Welcome to our first LDG Weekly Newsletter! I’m currently feeling great while writing this as not only did Man United win😁, but we’ve got some big things on the way for our Elite Group as well as a surprise announcement👀 Looking back at the charts, the DXY this week looks set for further moves to the downside which to me insinuates further USD weakness, at least for now. Overall we are still very much bullish on the M and W but I believe we will see continued pullback before the DXY continues upwards.   The JPYX looks to continue bullish after the week we have just seen. The M candle has closed and looks to continue towards the upside, potentially with a small pullback to start the week/month off. Overall however I’m expecting to see continued JPY strength.   Gold has been interesting over this last week but I am confident long positions and overall bullish bias will prevail. W and D look better now than they did at the start of the week for longs. Furthermore, we have an update regarding our gold trades which I’m sure you’ll all be happy to hear!👀   I (GFX) personally finished the week at a loss of -0.5% but had a profitable month of November overall, finishing at +2.5%. It was definitely a turbulent month with a lot going on in the financial world which meant I traded a lot less than usual. As we look to the month ahead, December is the month where things start to die down a touch, as traders come off the charts to spend time with their families, so expect slower price action especially towards the end of the month.   As always, please stay honest and disciplined with yourself, don’t let yourself down with poor risk management or emotional trading, it will set you up for long term failure and at LDG we genuinely want you guys to succeed. AUDCHF ANALYSIS After seeing price reject a weekly imbalance im confident to see this pair target external liquidity where our tp3 is located. As spoke about in our call yesterday I was waiting to see how price would react to our supply zone after sweeping liquidity. And the answer to that is it has reacted beautifully with a lot of bullish momentum pushing the market up and has left being a couple FVG’s for price to now fill. I am targeting my entry at equilibrium which also has the confluence of one of these FVGS. Taking profits along the way at LTF liquidity levels and stops below our weekly FVG 📈
