PRIDE SEASON IS CALLING 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️  On the 04th July Sounds Queer Open Air returns - this time curated by @zan_kollektiv, a Leipzig-based FLINTA* collective advocating for diversity, connection and empowerment.  For this special occasion there will be an all LGBTQIA+ lineup, serving sparkling DJ sets and stunning drag performances. Expect a vibrant selection of warm and welcoming tunes during the day and an energetic, groovy sound in the evening. The program also features an informative talk by @raasachsen as well as an information stand by @aidshilfeleipzig for your daily dose of education.

As some of you may know, Leipzig Open Air is also deeply rooted in Leipzig's band scene. That's why our next event is for all lovers of fine live music. Get ready for powerful local acts this saturday. You can expect a wide variety of indie, rock, grunge, punk and a drag show! The event starts at 5:30 PM at the AOK Wiese in Clara Park. Food and cold drinks will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!

Beyond hosting carefully curated events, the group runs a podcast series and recently launched its own vinyl label. What brings them together is not only a close friendship, but a shared passion for music, records, and the culture surrounding it. Expect rare gems, groovy rhythms, deep basslines, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere on the dancefloor.
