AAU Law Students Take Africa’s Top Spot, Advance to Global Final   Law students from Addis Ababa University have advanced to the global final of the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Moot Court Competition after emerging as winners of the African regional round.   Competing for the first time in the challenging international investment law and arbitration moot, the Addis Ababa University team defeated 14 teams from across Africa, finishing first in Sub-Saharan Africa.   Their regional victory secures their place in the global final, where they will represent Africa on the international stage in one of the leading moot court competitions focused on foreign investment law and arbitration. The Urban Center, in collaboration with Deluxe Furniture, will host Informed Choices 3.0 on Saturday, 22 August 2026. Designed for Grade 12 students, first-year university students, and their parents or guardians, this half-day mentorship session aims to assist participants in making informed degree and career choices.
