The Ultimate Objective of Memorizing the Qur'aan Shaykh al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allaah have mercy upon him) said: And what is required regarding the Qur'aan is understanding its meanings and acting upon it. For if this is not the ambition of its memorizer, he is not from the Ahl al-'Ilm wa ad-Deen (people of knowledge and religion). Why is the Noble Qur’aan Considered the Highest Model of Human Behavior?! Because the Qur’aan is that which: Regulated our voice: وَاقْضِدْ مِنْ صَوْتِكَ "And lower your voice." Surah Luqman (31:19). Regulated our walk: وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا "And walk not on the earth with conceit and arrogance." Surah Al-Israa' (17:37). Regulated our gaze: وَلَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ "And strain not your eyes in longing." Surah Ta-Ha (20:131). * Regulated our hearing: وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا "And spy not." Surah Al-Hujuraat (49:12). Regulated our food: وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَلَا تُسْرِفُوا "And eat and drink but waste not by extravagance." Surah Al-A'raaf (7:31). Regulated our speech: وَقُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْنًا "And speak good to people." Surah Al-Baqarah (2:83). Regulated our gatherings: وَلَا يَغْتَبْ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا "And do not backbite one another." Surah Al-Hujuraat (49:12). Regulated our souls: لَا يَسْخَرْ قَوْمٌ مِنْ قَوْمٍ "Let not a group scoff at another group." Surah Al-Hujuraat (49:11). Regulated our thoughts: إِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ "Verily, some suspicion is a sin." Surah Al-Hujuraat (49:12). Regulated our statements: وَلَا تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ "And follow not that of which you have no knowledge." Surah Al-Israa' (17:36). Taught us pardon and tolerance: فَمَنْ عَفَا وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ "But whoever forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is with Allaah." Surah Ash-Shura (42:40). Thus, the Qur’aan is sufficient to regulate our lives and achieve the life of the blissful... الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُمْ بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ "Those who believe, and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allaah, Verily, in the remembrance of Allaah do hearts find rest." Surah Ar-Ra'd (13:28). Let the Qur’aan reshape your life. Translated by t.me/ListenToTheQuraan Source t.me/AbuzZubayrQuraanRecitations/209

❌Your day must never be devoid of the Qur'aan📌 The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said: «خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ» "The best of you are those who learn the Qur'aan and teach it." [Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith No. 5027] Thus: Memorize 🧠 And if you do not memorize, then revise 🔁 And if you do not revise, then read 📖 And if you do not read, then listen 🎧 The important thing is that your day must never be devoid of the Qur'aan. 🤲🏻 May Allaah, make the Qur'aan the spring of our hearts. t.me/ListenToTheQuraan whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vb60LMg7dmeeu0zHUM1o #Listen_To_The_Quraan
How to make the most of this blessed day (of Arafah) Writen by Shaykh Abu AbdirRahmān Abdullaah Al-Iryaani - حفظه الله بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم So, the successful one – among Muslim men and women – is he whom Allaah grants success to seize the opportunity of this great day and honors with liberation from the fire of Hell. Making the most of it involves several matters, from them: Summary 1. Fasting. https://t.me/AwfIbnMaalikIsaamicLibrary/3737 2. Du'a (Supplication) https://t.me/AwfIbnMaalikIsaamicLibrary/3738 3. Tahlil (saying Laa ilaaha Illa Llaah - there is no diety worthy of true worship except Allaah) https://t.me/AwfIbnMaalikIsaamicLibrary/3739 4. ◾ Swearing by the Qur'aan◾️ بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم Answered by Ash-Shaykh Abu Amrin Abdul Karīm Al-Hajūrī - may Allaah preserve him. 📩 Question: Is it permissible to swear an oath by the Qur'aan? From the perspective that the Qur'aan is the Word of Allaah 📝 Answer: Yes — if he says, "By the Qur'aan," or swears by the Qur'aan, or swears by the Book of Allaah. Swearing by the Attributes of Allaah is permissible. However, it is not permissible to swear by the Mus-haf (the physical copy of the Qur'aan), because the Mus-haf comprises ink, paper, threads, and the like, and these are created things. As for swearing by the Qur'aan or the Book of Allaah, the Qur'aan is an Attribute among His Attributes; it is His Word, and it is permissible to swear by the Attributes of Allaah the Exalted. But also, regarding the one who says, "I swear by the Signs (Aayaat) of Allaah," the Signs of Allaah are of two types: Legislated Signs and Universal Signs. The Legislated Signs are the Qur'aan; [swearing by them is] yes [permissible]. As for the Universal Signs, such as the sun, the moon, the stars, and the like, it is not permissible [to swear by them]. Translated by Abu Juwayriyah Nūruddīn ibn Sulaymān ibn Hārūn Al Idi An-Nījīrīyy t.me/AwfIbnMaalikIsaamicLibrary whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaAjKSJ4dTnLj4gaxv3V _ #AwfIbnMaalik_Selected_Fataawaa Source t.me/AwfIbnMaalikIsaamicLibrary/5408
◾ Seeking Healing Through the Qur'aan◾️ بســـم اللــه الرحــمــن الـرحـــيــم Answered by Ash-Shaykh Abu Amrin Abdul Karīm Al-Hajūrī - may Allaah preserve him. 📩 Question: Is it permissible to write verses from the Qur'aan with ink on a flat wooden board and then have someone drink it? 📝 Answer: This is not permissible, whether it is written on a wooden board or written on a piece of paper and its water is then drunk; for he has only drunk ink. This is the "erasure" (al-mahu). This erasure is what the scholars have warned against. There is no evidence for this, and he has neither drunk the Qur'aan nor anything else—he has drunk ink. Yes, this is not among the medicines; it is nothing but an innovation for which there is no evidence. Rather, whoever wants to seek healing through the Qur'aan should do so either by reciting it— and this is the best of circumstances: recitation, contemplation, and acting upon the Qur'aan and similar matters that are among the objectives of the Qur'aan. Likewise, if he recites over something, such as reciting over some water and then drinking it, there is no harm that something [of the blessing] reaches him. Yes, something of the effect that falls upon the water and its like reaches him, so its benefit is hoped for according to the correct opinion, even though some [scholars] prohibited that. As for this action [writing and washing off ink], it is the "erasure," and it is an innovation and is not permissible. On the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Purify your mouths for the Qur'aan." Musnad al-Bazzar The evidence for seeking its reward from Allaah and not rushing its compensation or using it for worldly gain. On the authority of Jabir bin Abdullaah (may Allaah be pleased with them both) who said: The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ came out to us while we were reciting the Qur'aan, and among us were Bedouins and non-Arabs. He said: "Recite, for all is good. There will come a people who will straighten it (its letters) as an arrow is straightened; they will seek its reward hastily (in this world) and will not seek it later (in the Hereafter)." Musnad Ahmad & Sunan Abi Dawud. The meaning of "seek its reward hastily and will not seek it later" is: they hasten to get its reward and compensation in this world and do not delay it for the Hereafter. The evidence for respecting the carriers of the Qur'aan who act upon it: On the authority of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said: "Indeed, part of magnifying Allaah is honoring the grey-haired Muslim, the carrier of the Qur'aan who does not exaggerate (ghali) regarding it nor neglects (jafi) it, and honoring the just ruler." Sunan Abi Dawud. The meaning of: "the one who exaggerates regarding it" is: the extremist, the one who is overly pedantic, and the one who exceeds the limits therein. "The one who neglects it" is: the one who turns away from it or is falling short in its regard. The evidence that the Prophet's ﷺ character was the Qur'aan: From the hadith of Sa'd bin Hisham that he asked 'Aishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) about the character of the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ. She said: "Do you not recite the Qur'aan?" I said: "Yes." She said: "Indeed, the character of the Prophet of Allaah ﷺ was the Qur'aan." Sahih Muslim. Ahmad and others added: "Do you not recite the Qur'aan: {And verily, you (O Muhammad ﷺ) are on an exalted standard of character}?" A Gift to the Nobles: A Treatise on Noble Manners and Good Morals for Adults and Children. Shaykh Abu Abdur-Rahman Muwaffaq bin Ahmad bin Ali al-Fadhli Question 5: How should Noble Manners be toward the Noble Qur'aan? Answer: Noble Manners toward the Noble Qur'aan involve loving it, magnifying it, and reciting it with contemplation (tadabbur) and humility. One should avoid swaying or being distracted during its recitation, work according to its teachings, and memorize it. It is recommended to purify the mouth before recitation, preferably using the siwak. One must respect the Mus-haf (the physical book), placing it in a fittingly high location, maintaining it and its pages, and picking up anything that falls from it to place it in a suitable spot. One should listen attentively when it is heard and avoid demeaning it or neglecting it in inappropriate places. It should not be used as a means of seeking worldly gain (ta’akul). Disbelievers should not be enabled to touch the Mus-haf, nor should it be taken to the land of the disbelievers if it is feared it will be insulted. Respecting the Qur'aan includes respecting its carriers who act upon it. A slave should embody the character of the Noble Qur'aan, just as our Prophet ﷺ did, for his character was the Qur'aan. It is not from Noble Manners with the Noble Qur'aan to use it as ringtones for phone calls, or to display it on screens, or as slogans on walls and shops, or as symbols for certain parties and associations; this contradicts the magnification of the Noble Qur'aan. It is also not legislated to use the Qur'aan as an announcement for death or as an alarm for Friday or the prayers, as these are among the innovations (bid'ah) and newly invented matters. The evidence for magnifying the Noble Qur'aan: ذَلِكَ وَمَنْ يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ And whosoever honours the Symbols of Allaah, then it is truly from the piety of the heart. Surah Al-Hajj (22:32) The evidence for not enabling disbelievers to touch it: إِنَّهُ لَقُرْآنٌ كَرِيمٌ (٧٧) فِي كِتَابٍ مَكْنُونٍ (٧٨) لَا يَمَسُّهُ إِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُونَ (٧٩) تَنْزِيلٌ مِنْ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ That (this) is indeed an honourable recitation (the Noble Qur'aan). In a Book well-guarded (with Allaah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). Which none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). A Revelation (this Qur'aan) from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). On the authority of 'Amr bin Hazm (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ wrote a letter to the people of Yemen in which it stated: "None shall touch the Qur'aan except one who is pure." Sunan ad-Daraqutni. It is well known that the disbeliever is impure (najis) and not pure (tahir). The evidence that it is not permissible to travel with the Qur'aan to the land of the disbelievers if it is feared it will be insulted: عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يُسَافَرَ بِالْقُرْآنِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الْعَدُوِّ On the authority of Abdullaah bin Umar (may Allaah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ forbade traveling with the Qur'aan to the land of the enemy. Muslim added: "Out of fear that the enemy might get hold of it." Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim. The evidence for listening attentively during its recitation: وَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُوا لَهُ وَأَنْصِتُوا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ So, when the Qur'aan is recited, listen to it, and be silent that you may receive mercy. Surah Al-A'raf (7:204). The evidence for contemplating the Noble Qur'aan: أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ أَمْ عَلَى قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَا Do they not then think deeply in the Qur'aan, or are their hearts locked up (from understanding it)? Surah Muhammad (47:24). The evidence for purifying the mouth when reciting it:
