Lumerin Hashpower Marketplace Temporarily Paused for Upgrades Over the past few weeks, the Lumerin team has been working across several high-impact initiatives that will improve core protocol functionality and significantly shape the future direction of the project. These efforts span protocol-level upgrades, user experience enhancements, and the development of new features designed to increase adoption and unlock new use cases for decentralized hashpower. As part of this broader work, the Lumerin Hashpower Marketplace has been temporarily paused. This decision was made to allow the team to focus on implementing and testing key updates in a controlled environment without risking user experience or system stability. The marketplace will remain offline during this transition as we finalize new components, strengthen infrastructure, and prepare for the introduction of expanded capabilities. Dear Lumerin community, We'd like to share an important update. Ryan Condron, former CEO of Titan (one of the core contributors to Lumerin), has stepped down from his role. While Ryan is no longer involved, Titan remains an active participant in the Lumerin ecosystem, and the project continues to be developed by a decentralized group of contributors from multiple organizations. We're also excited to announce that Jethro Grassie will be stepping in as the new CEO of Titan. With over 25 years of experience leading technology teams across critical sectors like finance, communications, healthcare, and infrastructure, Jethro brings deep technical expertise and a strong vision for the future of decentralized systems. In the crypto space, Jethro is best known for his contributions to Monero, where he's developed a high-performance, large-scale mining pool implementation, contributed to the core codebase, and pioneered innovations like the first open-source WebAssembly-based CryptoNight miner and protocol extensions to further decentralize the mining ecosystem. He was also instrumental in building Titan Pool, a state-of-the-art mining pool and the first to integrate Bitcoin Lightning Network technology for faster, more efficient payouts. Jethro's deep technical background and commitment to open-source development make him an ideal leader for this next phase of Lumerin's evolution. Meanwhile, the Lumerin team is heads down building a major update designed to streamline onboarding for new hashpower vendors. GitHub Actions for Software Builds: We are transitioning software builds, including dependent libraries, to GitHub Actions for more efficient and automated development workflows. 2. Streamlined Deployment for Titan/Lumerin Infrastructure: Similar to how we manage Morpheus-Foundation deployments, we aim to create a consistent and reliable process for Lumerin infrastructure. ✅ Completed Docker Build Refactoring We have successfully refactored our Docker build processes, improving efficiency and automation. This includes: 1. Implementing a pipeline trigger that connects GitHub repositories with GitLab’s proxy-router-foundation for seamless updates. 2. Removing redundant GitLab YAML files from the proxy-router repository on GitHub to reduce complexity and improve maintainability.
