⠀this summer, my boyfriend and i let the island of bali become our little escape: a place where the days moved with the rhythm of the waves, the sunsets painted the sky in warm gold, and the world seemed to slow down just enough for ⠀ ⠀  us to savor every moment together. for a while, we left our ordinary lives behind and let the island weave new memories into the story of us.

I still catch myself thinking about how lucky I was to find you. Out of all the people I could have met, life brought me to you, and I couldn't be more thankful for that. Being with you has become one of my favorite parts of life, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

It's the 6th again already, and once more, I find myself thinking about love whenever this day comes again, thinking about you. You came into my life again, technically, and gently brought me the kind of love I had always dreamed of the same love I told you about from the very first time we met. Through your kindness and the way you embraced every imperfect part of me, you showed me a love I thought no longer existed. You reminded me that love doesn't have to be loud to be real, and that being loved can feel safe, patient, and unwavering. You made me believe that the love I had longed for all this time had been waiting for me all along, in you.
