PWE Week #519 7 August 2026 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted. Isaiah 12:3-4 KJV Reaping with Mega Joy When the prophetic word for August was declared, I knew it was my season of harvest. However, if you immediately encountered valid reasons to complain, you are in good company. Persecution arises for the word's sake (Mark 4:17), and in environments where complaining is normalized, rewiring your mind to rejoice takes a conscious discipline. Our opening scripture doesn't just tell us that we will draw water ( our harvests) with joy; it gives us the how: by praising the Lord, calling upon His name, declaring His works, and exalting Him. This month, be deliberate about filling your conversations with what God is doing—from forgiving and saving you, to establishing you in His righteousness and all the benefits that come with that (Psalm 103:1-5). Beyond seeking answers, reaping with joy is an opportunity to intentionally shift your perspective from one of frustration to gratitude. Through that shift, you often realize that the very things you have been pressing into in prayer all year have been within your reach all along (Isaiah 65:24). The Discipline of Perspective- “Do not complain, See God’s perspective on issues, pray with thanksgiving”.- The Visionary, Joyful Harvests 2017. We saw perspective put to the test recently while traveling. After a long first leg, we planned to rest at the airport lounge—something my husband always arranges to ensure my comfort. But as we reached the gate, the system glitched, and an unwelcoming agent turned us away while the service center remained closed. I could feel my frustration rising, but then I remembered the assignment: We are reaping with joy. Instead of letting it ruin our mood, I sent my boys to find a food court, and we grabbed burgers and hot chocolate instead. We shared great conversation, and before we knew it, we were happily headed to our boarding gate. Insisting on Your Joy You are reaping with mega Joy! The Visionary, PWE NOPU, July 2026. We must master the art of insisting on our joy, refusing to tie our happiness strictly to circumstances going according to plan. Sometimes, spiritual warfare isn't about fighting—it can look like: • Refusing to step into the ring with Satan’s mind games (Proverbs 4:23). • Keeping quiet when a million reactive words rush to your mouth (James 1:19). • Lifting holy hands without wrath after knowing you have been deliberately crossed (1 Timothy 2:8-10). • Checking your account balance and thanking God for provision (Luke 9:16). • Praising God even after receiving a dismal doctor's report (Isaiah 53:4-5). And so on. Beloved, this month, decide that joy will be your default mode. Master strategic patience, claim your answers through joy, and refuse to quit on rejoicing. Manchester is home to my family —I have received many medals of faith in this land, and I give God praise for bringing me back to sow into the very city where my wells of faith and prayer were dug in a remarkable way. And praise God - who always leads us in triumph, spreading His fragrance everywhere we go!
