  • 📍FASTING REMINDER The Prophet ﷺ said: مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بَاعَدَ اللَّهُ وَجْهَهُ عَنِ النَّارِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا “Whoever fasts one day for the sake of Allah, Allah will keep his face away from the Fire for a distance of seventy years.” 📖 Sahih al-Bukhari 2840 and Sahih Muslim 1153. @MUSKofJannahh

  • “Allah Has Set a Measure For Everything” In surah al-Talaq, Allah informs us that: وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ ۚ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا And whoever places their reliance on Allah, then He will be sufficient for him. Allah certainly makes His commands a reality. Allah has set a measure for everything. [65:3] In one of his writings, the great scholar ibn al-Qayyim mentioned a beautiful point related to the arrangement of the three sentences within the above ayah when he said: When Allah mentioned that He will take care of those who place their reliance on Him, perhaps someone would incorrectly understand that to mean that Allah will take care of him as soon as he places his reliance on Him, so Allah then followed up that phrase by saying:  قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا Allah has set a measure for everything meaning: a time beyond which a thing will not last. So Allah will take a thing on its path until it reaches the end time that He set for it. So the person who places his reliance on Allah should not be impatient and say, “I have placed my reliance on Allah and made du’a to Him but I haven’t seen anything change and I haven’t found myself being taken care of!” for Allah certainly makes His command a reality at the time that He has set for it to happen. • Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “On this day there is an hour when no Muslim slave stands and prays and asks Allah for something, but Allah will give it to him,” and he gestured with his hand to indicate that whatever he asks for, is as nothing to Allah.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, al-Jumu’ah, 883) #Friday #Reminder #Dua @MUSKofJannahh

✍ “Whosoever needs something from Allah, ask, ask, ask on Friday because Allāh will grant you whatever you ask for, male or female. Make wudoo’, after Al-ASR prayer and sit down making continuous duah, keep your tongue moist with duah, keep asking, for sure, Your Lord is so shy of returning His slaves empty handed when they raised them to ask Him. O you who is sick, O you who is in debt, O you who is seeking to get married, O you who is seeking to have children, O you who is feeling abandoned, O you who feels as though there is no hope, O you who has had his heart shattered to a million pieces, O lost souls, O distressed souls, O malnourished souls, O you who is in need of Allāh, indeed you are in most need of the mercy of Your Lord, He is ever so generous. Q. Are we permitted to go outside and watch the eclipse? A. 🌑 When the Sun Is Eclipsed — This Is Not a Celebration! An eclipse occurs when the light of the sun or moon is obscured. But for the believer, it is not merely an astronomical event to gather outside, watch, photograph or celebrate. It is one of the signs of Allah, a sign by which Allah causes His servants to fear Him. When a solar eclipse occurred during the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ, his response was not excitement or entertainment. Abū Mūsā رضي الله عنه narrated that when the sun eclipsed: “The Prophet ﷺ got up in a state of fear, thinking that it might be the Hour.” He ﷺ hurried to the Masjid and stood in a long prayer, prolonging his standing, bowing and prostration. He then said: “These signs which Allah sends do not occur because of the life or death of anyone, but Allah causes His servants to fear by them. So when you see anything of that, hasten to the remembrance of Allah, supplicate to Him and seek His forgiveness.” — Bukhārī This was the response of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: fear, prayer, duʿā’, dhikr and istighfār. And he ﷺ commanded: “When you see them, supplicate to Allah and pray until it becomes clear.” — Bukhārī ʿĀ’ishah رضي الله عنها described how the Prophet ﷺ prolonged the eclipse prayer, with lengthy standing and bowing, until the eclipse had cleared. So an eclipse is not an Eid, a holiday or an occasion for entertainment. We have no guidance from the Prophet ﷺ teaching us to go out merely to watch and enjoy it. Rather, his Sunnah teaches the believer to recognise the seriousness of Allah’s signs and turn immediately back to Him. The same Prophet ﷺ who received revelation feared that it might be the Hour. What, then, should our condition be? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the best and most knowledgeable of creation concerning Allah, the most God-fearing of mankind, and our perfect example. Yet when he ﷺ witnessed the eclipse, he became fearful and hastened to prayer. Allah تعالى said: ﴿لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ﴾ “Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad ﷺ) you have a good example to follow…” — Sūrah al-Aḥzāb, verse 21 So if we truly love the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, we follow him. We fear when he feared, we pray as he prayed, and we respond to the signs of Allah as he taught us to respond. Guidance is not found in following our feelings, customs or what people have turned an occasion into; guidance is in following the footsteps of Muhammad ﷺ. When Allah displays one of His mighty signs, let our first response be the response of His beloved Messenger ﷺ: Hasten to the prayer. Remember Allah. Seek His forgiveness. Give charity. Make duʿā’. And fear the One who controls the sun, the moon, the heavens and the earth. 🌑 What should a Muslim do during an eclipse? The Sunnah is to turn to Allah with: • Ṣalāt al-Kusūf — the eclipse prayer. • Duʿā’ and dhikr — remembering Allah and calling upon Him. • Istighfār and tawbah — seeking Allah’s forgiveness and sincerely repenting. • Ṣadaqah — giving charity. • Fear of Allah — remembering that these are among His signs and that the Hour is a reality. — Shaykh Musa Jibril حفظه الله https://t.me/LightOfTheTruth

  • Begin Your Day With Barakah وَهَٰذَا كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مُبَارَكٌ... “This is indeed a Blessed Book We have sent down…” (6:92). Every blessing in your day starts with where the Qurʾān sits in your schedule. If you begin with it — before your phone, before messages, before the rush of tasks and meetings — your day flows with ease. It feels as though barakah has gone ahead of you, arranging everything you once thought could never be arranged. But if you delay it, saying, “after this meeting, after this task, after this call,” you will often return to it tired, reading hastily, almost apologetically… not truly reciting, but excusing yourself. And sometimes, you may miss it altogether, as if it’s saying, “If you place me last, then you do not deserve me.” Your daily portion of Qurʾān is not a side habit. It is the key that multiplies your productivity and peace. Place it first, and everything else will follow. Delay it, and the barakah of your entire day is delayed. Everything steals your time — except the Qurʾān. It blesses it. #shared ❤️ 📖 https://t.me/IqraInDaNameOfYourLord

  • EVIL EYE Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: “It is an arrow, shot by the one who is jealous or (or is known) for giving evil-eye towards the one who is envied – hitting (the target) sometimes and missing it sometimes. So if it is encountered while uncovered and without protection, then the person is affected by it. But no doubt, if it is encountered while taking precaution, then it will not affect him; rather it may happen that this arrow (evil-eye) is returned back to the owner himself (i.e. the owner is affected by his own evil-eye).” [Zaad al-Ma`aad | 4/154] @MUSKofJannahh

  • 🌙 I came with empty hands, And a heart heavy with shame. My sins are many, My deeds are few. Had You dealt with me as I deserve, I would have been left with nothing but ruin. So I stand at Your door As the bankrupt stands, As the broken stands, As the sinner stands... Because every path is closed but Yours. With nothing to offer But tears, hope and need. O my Lord, I have wronged myself. So forgive me, my Lord. Forgive me with a forgiveness That erases all my sins. 🤲 @MUSKofJannahh

Certainly we have turned unto You." He said: (As to) My punishment I afflict therewith whom I will and My Mercy embraces all things. That (Mercy) I shall ordain for those who are the Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2), and give Zakât; and those who believe in Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs and revelations, etc.) ⏩️Qur'an 7:156 🖋️reminds us that Allah's mercy is greater than we can imagine. In this beautiful verse, Prophet Musa (🇧🇫) asks Allah for goodness in this life and the Hereafter after sincerely repenting. Allah responds by saying that His punishment reaches whom He wills, but His mercy encompasses all things. Then He promises His special mercy for those who have taqwa (God-consciousness), give zakah, and believe in His signs. ➖ No matter how far you've strayed, the door of repentance is always open. Never lose hope in the mercy of Allah. Turn back to Him with sincerity, seek forgiveness and strive to live according to His guidance. Allah loves those who return to Him. May Allah make us among those who receive His special mercy, forgive our sins, guide our hearts and grant us goodness in this world and the Hereafter. 🌾. 📖 @MUSKofJannahh
