Mosque Jamia's Blood Donation Campaign Concludes with 126 Units Collected ******* The Ethiopian Blood and Tissue Bank Service, in collaboration with the Umar ibn al-Khattab Mosque Volunteers Jamia in Ejersa Goro Ward, Burayu Sub-City of Sheger City (Oromia Region), successfully concluded its fifth round of blood donation on April 26, 2026, collecting 126 units of blood. "I always feel a sense of mental peace and joy when I donate blood to save the lives of my fellow citizens," said Mr. Seyid Mohammed, a member of the Mosque Committee and coordinator of the donation drive. He stated that he would continue to donate blood as long as he lives and sent a message that we must save those whose lives are at risk due to lack of blood by donating. The coordinator emphasized that the satisfaction and fulfillment gained from saving a person's life through blood donation is immense. He advised everyone whose age and health permit to donate blood to save fellow citizens who lose their lives due to blood shortages.
