The Prophet ﷺ said: عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «سَبْعَةٌ يُظِلُّهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي ظِلِّهِ يَوْمَ لَا ظِلَّ إِلَّا ظِلُّهُ...» "There are seven groups who will receive Allah's shade on a day when there will be no shade but His shade." (HR. Bukhari no. 660 and Muslim no. 1031) The following are the seven groups: --- 1. A Just Leader إِمَامٌ عَادِلٌ A leader who carries out his mandate fairly, is not unjust, and upholds the truth. Justice does not only apply to national leaders, but also to everyone who leads, such as heads of families, teachers, or anyone who has responsibility. --- 2. Youth Who Grow Up in Worship of Allah وَشَابٌّ نَشَأَ فِي عِبَادَةِ اللَّهِ Youth is a time full of temptation. Young people who use their youth to obey Allah will gain great glory with Him. --- 3. People whose hearts are linked to the mosque وَرَجُلٌ قَلْبُهُ مُعَلَّقٌ بِالْمَسَاجِدِ His heart always longs to worship in the house of Allah and always maintains congregational prayer. --- 4. Two People Who Love Each Other Because of Allah وَرَجُلَانِ تَحَابَّا فِي اللَّهِ اجْتَمَعَا عَلَيْهِ وَتَفَرَّقَا عَلَيْهِ They met, became friends, and parted solely for the sake of Allah, not for worldly interests. --- 5. People Who Reject the Call to Adultery Because They Fear Allah وَرَجُلٌ دَعَتْهُ امْرَأَةٌ ذَاتُ مَنْصِبٍ وَجَمَالٍ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّهَ A person who is capable of committing sin, even though the opportunity is wide open for him, but he rejects it because he fears Allah. --- 6. People Who Give Alms in Secret وَرَجُلٌ تَصَدَّقَ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَأَخْفَاهَا حَتَّى لَا تَعْلَمَ شِمَالُهُ مَا تُنْفِقُ يَمِينُهُ He gave charity so sincerely that it was as if his left hand did not know what his right hand was giving him. --- 7.
