- لا أحد يقترب مني وكأنني حافة العالم. Nobody comes close to me like I'm the edge of the world.

- ‏كم سنة وأنا أسميك الوداع ، ولا أودّع غير نفسي. How many years have I called you farewell, and I bid you farewell only myself.

- انتَ في وحدتك بلدٌ مزدحم. You are alone in a crowded country.

- علينا أن نؤمن بالنهاية وأن ننسى ثم نمضي قدمًا. We have to believe in the end, to forget, and then to move on.

- ‏لم أكن أعرفُ أن الأمل أزهق أرواحًا بهذه الكثرة. I didn't know that hope took so many lives.

- أنا متعب لأني بذلت كل ما بوسعي لأجل من لا يستحق. I'm tired because I did everything I could for someone who didn't deserve it.

‏- لا تستثنوا أحدًا وتوقعوا من الجميع كل شيء. Don't exclude anyone and expect everything from everyone.

- لا تأتِ متَأخرًا باحثًا عن ذاتِ المكان. Don't come late looking for the same place.

- أخشى أن أعيش منتظر لشيئ لن يأتي. I'm afraid to live waiting for something that won't come.

- لقد سَلب الآخرون كلامِي حَتى وصلتُ صامتًا. Others took away my words until I remained silent.

- لا تنتبه إنها النجاة أن تترك الأشياء تفوت. Don't pay attention. It's survival to let things pass by.

- كل الأنهيار متراكم على صّدري. All the collapse accumulated on my chest.

- ما أصعب أن يواسي الإنسان نفسُه. How difficult it is for a person to console himself.

- ثُمَّ ينيرُ الله ما أطفأهُ النَاس بِداخلك. Then God illuminates what people have extinguished inside you.

- تَائِها فَي مِتَاهة مِن صُنع يَداي. Lost in a maze of my own making.

- تستطيع ترتيب نفسك عندما تكون وحيدًا. You can arrange yourself when you are alone.

- جميعنا نحمل تلك الندبة المؤلمة في حياتنا. We all carry that painful scar in our lives.

- ‏لم يعد يهمني لكن لم انسى ما شعرت به . I don't care anymore, but I haven't forgotten what I felt.

- كل الأنهيار متراكم على صّدري. All the collapse accumulated on my chest.

- خيبة تُغمض عينيكَ ‏ولا يتبدلُ المشهد. Disappointment closes your eyes and the scene does not change.
