For years I was told sin was just something you keep fighting. You get a little better, you slip, you get back up, repeat. That's just the Christian life, right? Then I really considered something Paul wrote. Sin shall not have dominion over you. Not "try not to let it." Not "fight harder." That's a statement about what's already true, not advice on what to do next. So here's the question that's really worth pondering. Last Sabbath was a real high day as we concluded an incredible week at camp in Germany, and my heart is full. About a quarter of those who attended were new faces. New friends were made, old friendships deepened. Days spent in nature, in the Word, and in deep conversations that were memorable. And ten souls were baptized. Ten people who said yes to Christ and stepped into the water. That alone made the whole trip worth it. None of this happens without you. Every prayer, every bit of support, it all made this trip possible. Thank you for standing with me and with this mission. Let’s keep working. To the glory of the Father and Son. 🙏

Someone told me that when he gave his life to Christ, something happened in him that he couldn't explain. The addiction that had a grip on him for years just left. Not through a program. A few weeks ago, thousands gathered on the National Mall for a "rededication" of America to God for the next 250 years. A Roman Catholic bishop led the prayer. It's a scene straight out of a prophetic Bible book. A dedication, all the officials present, all eyes on one God. A pastor stood in front of his congregation and said this to God in prayer: "We want You to listen into a conversation we're going to have today, because actually we want to talk to the Holy Spirit."
