Spend a few hours building, connecting, and having fun with other developers at Cafe Cursor Hawassa. Bring your laptop, work on your own project, meet new people, play games, enjoy a hot drink, and collect Cursor credits. We’ll also try Grok Bot together. After great gatherings in Addis Ababa and Adama, Hawassa is our next stop. 📅 August 29 * Morning: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM * Afternoon: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM Developers coming from Addis who can cover their own travel and accommodation costs are welcome to travel to Hawassa with the organizers. YouTube has made it close to impossible to get monitzed. You need 8000 watch hours in 12 months, starting from February 2027. It used to be 4000, even that was difficult. I guess, with the exception of some extremely gifted people or large corporations, long video content creation will soon be a hobby for many. If you ever wanted to start a youtube channel, it has to be now or never. 🎬 Source @realtseg

New Stalking method dropped if you get an unknown number just enter it in telebirr since its national id linked
please just go and build it😭 stop asking everyone for advice, stop waiting until you feel “ready” or confident enough. trust me building ONE freaking big project will teach you more than anything. you don’t need to know everything before you start. you don’t become ready and then build .... you build, get stuck, figure sh*t out, learn, fail, try again, and eventually you realize you actually know what you’re doing. there is no perfectly crafted route, you just figure it out on the way. the confidence comes after you build it so just start it right now. and share the process too. Post your progress. Let your friends see you figuring it out in public. Honestly, that’s one of the most beautiful things to me .. watching someone build something from nothing while they’re still figuring everything out. @selfmadecoder

@DevNest17 made TeleLite, a lightweight, text-only, self-hosted Telegram client for feature phones. Go star and support • github.com/estifanosbereket1/telelite I thought this was so cool. Well done dude! Kinda wild to me the adventures the people in the community take. #CommunityShowcase @Dagmawi_Babi
25 things i learned by 25 1. The way you talk to yourself in your head is SO important than anything else in life. 2. When you take ownership of everything that happens to you, and live life like its 100% in your control, you feel happier. 3. Pouring fat down the sink will clog it. 4. inversion is a powerful mental tool that breaks you out of downward spirals. 5. if you cant say something bad about your group, or you cant say something good about the other side, you're brainwashed. 6. Everything in life is negotiable, and the more questions you ask, the better off you'll be. 7. most people dont care about the code, they do care about the experience though 8. your upbringing is not your fault but choosing not to fix it after you have grown up is entirely your fault 9. being mean to some people is okay, needed even, you cant make everyone happy and the more you try, the more you fail at keeping anyone happy. choose your people 10. most of what you want is behind about 2-4 weeks of uncomfortability and unsureness. it gets easier after then. 11. get a bidet, feels much cleaner than toilet paper 12. you dont rise to the level of your motivation, you fall to the level of your systems ( atomic habits ? ) 13. its easier to be a person that does x than to try to do x every day ( doing something always is easier than the mental effort of convincing yourself to do it ) 14. nobody has it all together, literally on every scale of importance 15. its okay to put something you bought and didnt like in the trash instead of suffering forever with your shitty choice. 16. respect physics , we are a sack of flesh taped together on bones. and anything that has an SI unit that goes to mega and killo can kill you. as a former live leak watcher 17. nobody cares about ipv6, adoption is important than technical elegance 18. you can fix most things with a screwdriver set, duct tape, google & a soldering iron. you cant be poor and also not know how to fix things, pick a struggle. 19. gullible is not written on the ceiling 20. you shouldnt avoid something because its a cliché, sometimes they're actually a cliché because they're proven to work for a lot of people 21. dont take people at their words, take them at their actions 22. read more books, the better vocabulary you have, the harder you can roast people in random irrelevant internet chats. 23. dont wait until 2 days left till 25 to start writing your list of 25 things i learnt before 25 24. go to hackathons, most devs dont even think about business. 25. life is a beautiful experiment you take to define what you want yours to be. season 2 episode 5 here we go

Humility doesn't mean: • pretending you're not good at something • hiding your achievements • acting nonchalant about things you care about • downplaying yourself so other people feel comfortable • constantly saying “I'm not that good” • refusing to take credit for your work • avoiding confidence because you might look arrogant @selfmadecoder
