Finally finished Kurt's reference sheet!✨ I finally put together all the little details I've had in mind for him. I also gave drawing in the Metalocalypse style another shot and even redesigned his hair a little. He's officially even fluffier now.

Finally got around to drawing Kurt's band in full because I realized I've never actually introduced the rest of Velvet Riot properly💖 I also put together a little introduction sheet with some basic info about everyone (except Kurt... he'll get his own post later because there's way too much to say about him). And here's a little bonus drawing of Velvet Riot and Dethklok together! I like to think of it as one of those chaotic backstage group photos. It doesn't tell the whole story, but I feel like it captures a bit of the dynamic between the two bands. I'll definitely be talking more about all of them in future posts, so stay tuned✨

Some small spoilers for upcoming drawings 👀💖 I plan to finish these soon! The good news is that I'm finally done with all my university assignments and submissions, which means I can officially enjoy my summer break ✨ That also means more time to draw and hopefully more art from me. Going forward, I want to spend more time developing Kurt, Velvet Riot, the dynamic between Kurt and Skwisgaar, the band's relationships, and all the little details that make these characters feel alive to me 💕

For the first time in a while, I decided to make a fully rendered piece again — with an actual background, lighting, atmosphere and everything. And honestly, I’m really happy with how it turned out 🖤 I’ve wanted to draw Kurt and Skwisgaar in this kind of setting for a long time — at some expensive, crowded party, surrounded by people, music and dim lights, where they unexpectedly run into each other after not seeing one another for quite a while. In reality, they don’t meet nearly as often as people might think. Constant touring, work, their bands, different cities and the endless chaos around them don’t exactly leave much room for something stable. So every meeting like this feels a little strange, like a coincidence that looks far too perfect to actually be accidental. I love this dynamic: Kurt acting like he’s not surprised at all, and Skwisgaar pretending he couldn’t care less. Even though they both know that’s not quite true.

it’s been a while since i last posted here — almost a month, huh i don’t have any fully finished pieces to share just yet, but i am working on new art with Kurt & Skwisgaar :) progress is a bit slow because of studies, but i promise it’s moving on the bright side, i’ve also been making some really interesting stuff for school (also Kurt & Skwisgaar-related), and if everything goes the way i’m planning… there should be something pretty cool coming within the next month for now, here’s a small sneak peek so you know i didn’t disappear and i’m still drawing 🖤 and also, i’ve started working on Kurt’s band logo and a few other things😼✨

Finally had some time to sit down and draw again 😼✨ It’s been a while, but I managed to finish this little mini comic. These kinds of moments between Kurt and Skwisgaar don’t happen often… but when they do, things tend to get a little out of hand. Let’s just say, Kurt definitely knows how to push his luck… and maybe enjoys it a bit too much.

Tried drawing Kurt in the Metalocalypse style again. And I think this is the closest I’ve gotten so far. Definitely better than my previous attempts, I’m slowly figuring him out💖

Yes!! They finally kissed 😼✨ I’ve wanted to draw this for so long, and I never imagined it being dramatic or cinematic. No tragic confession. It had to be spontaneous. Just Kurt being Kurt, teasing him about being a “very serious guitar god,” pushing it a little too far… and Skwisgaar giving that look You know the one :) And yeah, Skwisgaar would totally pretend it meant nothing. But I don’t think he hated it as much as he’d like to admit (Планирую в следующий раз наскетчить группу Курта, а то никто даже ничего о Курте и его жизни толком не знает, а у меня есть ОЧЕНЬ много чего рассказать вам)
