Earlier today, an unidentified loitering munition struck the Ben Younes station in the city of Zawiya, western Libya.

Three anti-ship cruise missiles were launched from Sirik in Hormozgan Province, southern Iran, possibly targeting vessels.

The U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has issued a pre-solicitation notice for a new mobile radar designed to detect and track ballistic, cruise and hypersonic missiles. The Forward-Based Mode (FBM) Radar Next is intended to provide a more mobile, rapidly deployable sensor that can be transported by C-17 aircraft or tactical ground vehicles and operate in adverse weather conditions. The MDA is seeking a prototype and plans to use accelerated contracting authorities to move the program forward. The effort comes as the U.S. seeks to improve its ability to detect and track increasingly advanced missile threats from China, Russia and Iran, including hypersonic weapons. The new radar would build on the role currently performed by the AN/TPY-2 Forward-Based Mode radar, which is already part of the U.S. ballistic missile defense architecture.

This morning, Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles struck the Rocket and Space Centre “Progress” in Samara, Samara Oblast. Progress, one of Roscosmos’s key enterprises, is involved in the production of Soyuz-2 launch vehicles and their associated electronics and systems. The FP-5 Flamingo missiles reportedly struck Building 106A, believed to be the only Russian facility involved in the serial assembly of Soyuz-2 launch vehicles. The building reportedly houses production of onboard electrical systems, instruments, circuit boards, control systems and cabling. Building 106B, used for final assembly, is located nearby. This is the first successful Ukrainian Flamingo strike in nearly a month, following several unsuccessful attacks in which Russian air defenses and aircraft intercepted all incoming missiles.

The IDF attempted to advance toward and infiltrate an underground Hezbollah position at Ali Al-Taher Hill in southern Lebanon. During the advance, an Israeli armored vehicle was struck by a Hezbollah anti-tank guided missile (ATGM), causing casualties among those inside. The IDF responded with airstrikes, artillery fire, and machine-gun fire, while several helicopters were dispatched to evacuate the casualties.
