🛠️ Weather Plugin Issue - Update & Fix 🛠️ Good news! The crash related to the Weather plugin has been resolved. ✅ If you are using OsmAnd version 5.2 (Beta): You are not affected by this issue. Everything is working correctly. ⚠️ If you are on OsmAnd version 5.1 or older and the app crashes on startup: Please follow these steps to fix it: Enable Airplane Mode. Force close the OsmAnd app. Go to your Android Settings → Apps → OsmAnd → Storage → Clear Cache (NOT Data!). Open OsmAnd – it should now start normally. You can safely turn Airplane Mode off and start using the Weather plugin again. The fix will be fully included in the upcoming stable release of version 5.2. Thank you for your patience!

🚨 We're aware of a crash affecting some users on startup, linked to the Weather plugin. Due to AWS outages, a chain reaction occurred which corrupted some cached data. Here’s how to fix it: If the app crashes immediately on startup: 1️⃣ Enable Airplane mode. 2️⃣ Force close OsmAnd. 3️⃣ Go to your device's Settings → Apps → OsmAnd → Storage → Clear Cache (NOT Data!). 4️⃣ Open OsmAnd. It should now start. 5️⃣ Disable the Weather plugin (and remove any weather widgets from the map). 6️⃣ Turn off Airplane mode. ✅ If the app starts normally, please disable the Weather plugin for now to prevent issues. 🔧 We are working on a permanent fix and will announce once it's live. Sorry for the inconvenience!
