Iranian Foreign Affairs Minister Abbas Araghchi to AJ: The United States and “Israel” have yet to realise that Iran’s government does not rely on a single individual. I do not know why the Americans and the “Israelis” still have not understood this point: The Islamic Republic of Iran has a strong political structure with established political, economic, and social institutions. The presence or absence of a single individual does not affect this structure. Of course, individuals are influential, and each person plays their role—some better, some worse, some less—but what matters is that the political system in Iran is a very solid structure. We have not had anyone more important than the leader himself, and even the leader was martyred, yet the system continued its work and immediately provided a replacement. If anyone else is martyred, it will be the same. If the foreign minister were ever to be martyred, there would ultimately be someone else to take the position.

A warning from the martyred Iranian leader, Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Larijani, posted on his X account 2 days before his assasination: I’ve heard that the remaining members of Epstein’s network have devised a conspiracy to create an incident similar to 9/11 and blame Iran for it. Iran fundamentally opposes such terrorist schemes and has no war with the American people.
Al-Mayadeen: Ali Larijani, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, was announced as a martyr according to a statement by the Secretariat, following a US-Israeli aggression overnight Monday. A towering figure in Iran’s political and intellectual life, Larijani’s legacy stretches from the battlefield ranks of the IRGC to being one of the main figures of Iran's political landscape. He served as parliament speaker from 2008 to 2020, was a trusted advisor to martyr Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council twice, between 2005 and 2007, and then from August 2025. Yet beyond titles, he was a man of conviction, one who relentlessly warned the US and "Israel" that Iran would not yield, declaring, "We will not leave you until you admit your mistake and pay the price." Even in his final moments, in his final message, his words carried the weight of sacrifice, honoring fallen soldiers and vowing that martyrdom would only strengthen the nation’s resolve. "Their memory will remain eternal in the hearts of the Iranian people, and this martyrdom will strengthen the foundations of the Islamic Republic’s army within the armed forces for many years to come. I ask Almighty God to grant these dear martyrs the highest ranks of courage," Larijani wrote.

OCCUPIED PALESTINE — 2 hours ago, “Israeli” media reported widespread power outages in the suburbs of the zionist entity, following bombardments from the 30th wave of the operations announced by Iran, launched under the command of the newly elected Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
Financial Times: According to an American energy consulting company, the American and “Israeli” attacks on Iran have led to the greatest disruption in the oil sector in history.
Wall Street Journal: Iran Signals a Fight to the End With Appointment of Khamenei’s Son Mojtaba Khamenei, close to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, is expected to take a confrontational stance toward the West. The appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the [assassinated] Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as Iran’s new supreme leader defies President Trump and signals that Tehran won’t back down as it fights a war with the US and “Israel”. The elevation of Mojtaba Khamenei, a conservative long close to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, shows that Trump’s efforts so far to cow the “regime” into surrender have failed. It also appears to have put “hard-liners” in firm control of the country, with moderate and reformist factions long marginalized. The 56-year old Khamenei is expected to take a confrontational stance toward the West. His appointment also shows that Iran won’t acquiesce to Trump’s demand that he approve the country’s new top cleric. Trump told Axios last week that “Khamenei’s son is unacceptable to me.”
NYTimes: Pentagon officials told US Congress that the first week of the war [on Iran] had cost an estimated $6 billion, approximately $4 billion of the which was spent on munitions

IRAN (DropSite News) — “Black rain” and “nuclear winter” effect reported in Tehran on Sunday after “Israeli” strikes on oil facilities. “Israeli” strikes on oil depots around Tehran have released massive quantities of toxic hydrocarbons, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides. Mixed with rainwater, these chemicals are causing highly acidic precipitation that can cause skin burns and severe lung damage upon contact, according to Iranian authorities. Dense plumes of black smoke from the Shahran and other refineries have blotted out the sun, plunging parts of the city into darkness and creating a "nuclear winter" effect, NYT reported. Authorities warned that these noxious fumes cause acute respiratory distress and eye irritation. Oil-saturated rainwater has blanketed the city, leaving rooftops, balconies, and streets covered in a thick, murky black liquid and oily soot. This contamination poses a long-term risk of heavy metals like nickel and vanadium leaching into the soil and local water systems. Environmental groups warn the pollution threatens migratory birds crossing the Persian Gulf. The "black rain" and smoke plumes can cause internal organ damage and destroy the insulating properties of bird feathers, leading to hypothermia and death. The Iranian Red Crescent Society warned of the dangers of the rain, advising residents to protect themselves and to cover exposed food from oily soot particles. Officials said the rain is highly corrosive and could potentially damage civilian structures. Media 1 of daytime in Iran via Trita Parsi. Media 2 from CNN reports on “oil rain”.

The Cradle: Iranian Health Commission member Fatemeh Mohammadbeigi stated that since the start of the US-Israeli attacks on Iran, nine medical centers have been targeted—five hospitals in Tehran and the rest in other cities—with Gandhi Hospital currently out of service following the previous US-Israeli attack.
❗️Gaza faces imminent fuel shortages after border crossings are shut Gaza is quickly depleting its already scarce fuel reserves, and supplies of basic food items could soon become strained, according to officials, after Israel halted the flow of fuel and goods into the Strip. "I expect we have maybe a couple of days' running time," said UN official Karuna Herrmann, who oversees fuel distribution in Gaza. Amjad al-Shawa, a Gaza-based Palestinian humanitarian coordinator working with the UN and non-governmental organizations, estimated that fuel stocks may last just three to four days, warning that vegetables, flour, and other essentials could also soon be exhausted if border crossings remain closed.
US Secretary of War: The war with Iran is not aimed at establishing democracy.
