📌PM Modi, Indonesia President Prabowo Subianto inaugurate 1170 year old Prambanan Temple Restoration Project in Yogyakarta. PM Modi and Indonesia’s President Prabowo inaugurated India-funded restoration of the 9th-century Prambanan temple complex (Yogyakarta). The Archaeological Survey of India will conserve the UNESCO World Heritage site, strengthening centuries-old cultural ties; leaders called the project a symbol of shared heritage. The visit also advanced cooperation in defence, maritime security, technology and AI.

📌DRDO conducted a successful flight-test of Pinaka Long Range Guided Rocket (LRGR-120) at the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur on July 08, The rocket was tested for a user defined minimum range of 60 kms. Demonstrating all in-flight manoeuvres as planned, the LRGR impacted on the target with textbook precision exactly following the predicted trajectory. All the deployed range instruments tracked the flight throughout its trajectory. It has max range of 120 km.

📌Indonesia becomes first foreign customer of India’s Astra air missile Indonesia becomes first foreign buyer of India’s indigenously developed Astra BVRAAM. Bharat Dynamics Ltd signed the deal with Indonesia’s Republikorp; Astra (Mach 4.5) has an engagement range of ~80–110 km (extendable to ~160 km) and will be integrated on Su-30 and Su-27 fighters. Alongside, India and Indonesia agreed cooperation on the BrahMos system, maritime safety (coast-guard ties, domain awareness, SAR), and integrated development of Sabang Port — a move with strategic importance for Indian Ocean security. Andhra Pradesh launches “Mee Mart” to modernise PDS. Food Minister Nadendla Manohar inaugurated the first outlet; Mee Marts will stock 250+ daily-use items priced ₹3–₹5 below market rates. The scheme aims to help ~30,000 fair price shop dealers earn extra income and offer affordable quality goods. Implemented with the National Cooperative Consumers Federation, 553 of 1,000 planned outlets are ready; nine opened so far. Plans include month-round operation, modernisation of shops, and integration with the Digital Rupee for subsidy payments.

Andhra Pradesh launches “Nethanna Bharosa” and clears APCO dues. Minister S. Savitha announced that ₹4 crore for blankets and welfare-hostel supplies will be released on July 15, and ₹2.5 crore for general handloom products will be paid in the first week of Aug, totalling ₹6.5 crore. Govt plans year-round employment for weavers, may supply yarn via APCO to cut production costs, and will boost APCO with skill development and market initiatives. CM N. Chandrababu Naidu, Dy CM K. Pawan Kalyan and IT minister Nara Lokesh are promoting handloom products.
