Sviatoslav’s Journey to Hope Initial Diagnosis and Despair in Ukraine💔 At just 1.5 years old, Sviatoslav was diagnosed with a severe brainstem tumor located in the medulla oblongata, causing critical neurological and respiratory issues. Ukrainian doctors delivered a devastating prognosis: —“Only palliative care is possible.” —“Treatment is not feasible for this pathology.” —“The tumor is inoperable, the only option is to wait for the inevitable.” A biopsy was deemed too risky due to potential bleeding, secondary swelling, and brainstem herniation. Sviatoslav’s parents, Yevheniya and Oleksandr, were told there was no hope for their son in Ukraine. Rejections from Clinics Worldwide Desperate for a solution, the family sought help from leading clinics across multiple countries, including Israel, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Greece, and other European nations. However, all refused treatment due to the complexity of Sviatoslav’s condition, stating that surgical intervention was impossible. Olesya’s Intervention and Search for Hope❤️‍🩹 When all seemed lost, the family reached out to Olesya, who had a reputation for helping in seemingly impossible cases. Despite countless rejections and messages pleading, “Everyone is refusing. No one gives hope for Sviatoslav,” Olesya responded with determination: “Of course, I will! Whatever is possible, I’ll find and do! We’ll give this child a chance for treatment and life!” She tirelessly consulted with top doctors and clinics worldwide, refusing to give up. The Right Choice: Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, Barcelona, Spain💊 After extensive consultations, Olesya identified the world-renowned Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona Hospital, known for its expertise in pediatric care, as the best option for Sviatoslav. Unlike other clinics, they agreed to take on his complex case. Urgent Transportation Across 3,550 km💞 Due to the brainstem tumor, air travel was deemed life-threatening by neurosurgeons, as it could cause severe complications. After careful discussions, the decision was made to transport Sviatoslav by reanimobile — a specialized medical vehicle—from Dnipro, Ukraine , to Barcelona, Spain. Distance: 3,550 km. Duration: 2 days. Conditions: Sviatoslav, dependent on oxygen and suffering from severe respiratory disorders, was accompanied by his parents, Yevheniya and Oleksandr, who stood strong in their fight for their son’s life. The journey, driven by hope, was a testament to the family’s resilience and Olesya’s commitment to saving Sviatoslav. Arrival and Immediate Care at Sant Joan de Déu Hospital💗 Upon arrival in Barcelona, Sviatoslav was immediately admitted to Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, one of the world’s top pediatric facilities. Urgent medical procedures began: —MRI, ultrasound, and continuous monitoring. —Necessary tests and analyses. —Replacement of the tracheostomy tube. —Consultations with leading specialists. A medical council was convened to plan further steps, including a biopsy, comprehensive diagnostics, and decisions on potential treatment options. A New Hope for Sviatoslav❤️‍🔥 Now, 1.5-year-old Sviatoslav, with his bright, sky-blue eyes, is receiving the best possible care in Barcelona. Despite the grim prognosis and rejections from numerous clinics, Olesya’s relentless efforts gave him a fighting chance. Sviatoslav’s story is a reminder that children should not suffer🤍

Mikita’s Journey to hope❤️‍🩹 Our Family’s Story We are a family of four, blessed with two wonderful children: our beloved son, Mikitushka, just 4 years old, and our 11-year-old daughter. But our world crumbled when Mikitushka’s health suddenly worsened. After extensive medical tests, we faced a devastating diagnosis: a brainstem tumor. December 3, 2024 Diagnosis: Benign tumor under the cerebellar tentorium. Complications: Hydrocephalus and brain swelling. Surgeries: December 10, 2024: Shunt placement to manage hydrocephalus. December 24, 2024: Partial tumor removal. Current Situation The tumor’s complex location made full removal impossible in Ukraine. It continues to grow, risking malignancy. December 26, 2024 Complications: A tracheostomy was required due to bulbar and neurological disorders, including loss of the cough reflex. Mikita is oxygen-dependent, relies on a ventilator, and needs an aspirator to clear his airways. Periodic drops in blood oxygen levels (SpO2) pose ongoing life-threatening risks. Our Actions💗 Time is critical — each day, the tumor presses harder on Mikita’s brain, causing swelling and worsening his condition. In Ukraine, doctors can only offer symptomatic care with a grim prognosis. But we’ve found hope: a specialized foreign clinic, experienced in complex cases like Mikita’s, is ready to treat him. A Message from His Parents As parents, we refuse to give up on our son. With your support, we hold onto hope for the complete removal of Mikita’s tumor and a healthy, joyful future for our little boy.
