Ibn Rajab reported from Ibn Hubayrah, who said: “If the night of Friday coincides with an odd-numbered night, it is more likely than others to be Laylat al-Qadr.” Ibn Taymiyyah also stated: “If the night of Friday coincides with one of the odd nights of the last ten nights, then it is more likely to be Laylat al-Qadr, by Allah’s will.” Additionally, Shaykh Abdul Aziz bin Baz (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “Some scholars have mentioned that if an odd night falls on a Friday night, it becomes even more likely to be Laylat al-Qadr. So direct me to a night on which I should come down to this mosque.' ‎So he ﷺ said: 'Come down on the night of the twenty-third.'” ‎Then I [Muhammad Ibn Ibrāhīm] said to his son: “What did your father used to do [on this night]?” ‎He said: “He would enter the mosque when he prayed ‘Asr, and would not leave it for any need until he had prayed Fajr.
