This evening I used Kimi K3 to SINGLE-SHOT a remarkable vision language program today that analyzes extremely large stitched microscopy images and identifies shapes and objects at different zoom levels and rotational orientations, using vision language (VL) object recognition. My prompt was about 1,000 words, mostly describing program logic and outer/middle/inner loop logic, etc. Kimi K3 one-shotted the program in less than an hour. It works with local VL models and uses no cloud computing to run. Just local python. The program worked right out of the gate, error-free and very powerful. It's now hammering out fascinating findings from across very large (500+ MB) images that I took just yesterday with my lab's 4K digital microscope, using large-scale automated image stitching. I'm going to use Kimi K3 for all my coding projects right now, because this project proved it is ridiculously capable and accurate. Here's one of the images it found. Looks kind of like a mutated horse wearing a halter, doesn't it?
