  • The Fed rate decision is due tomorrow. While the possibility of a hike cannot be entirely ruled out, the current landscape suggests that rates will most likely be left unchanged. With gold trading at relatively low levels, barring any surprises, prices are likely to move higher after the announcement. If momentum builds quickly, we could see 4250 as early as this week; if slower, the move may extend into next week. In terms of positioning, I would recommend buying on dips and scaling in gradually, with targets set in the 4200–4250 zone. On the intraday front, the main selling pressure is concentrated in the 4058–4077 area, with additional resistance around 4052. On the support side, the key level to watch is the psychological 4000 handle, with minor support seen in the 4037–4032 zone. The 4000 level has historically attracted strong buying interest on dips. If tested again, support is likely to hold — unless accompanied by a negative news catalyst that triggers panic selling. The key variable here is the Fed decision. My view leans toward a hold, which would be broadly positive for gold — so the overall tilt remains on the buy side. All in all, markets remain highly reactive and sensitive right now. Opportunity and risk go hand in hand. Stay optimistic, but never lose sight of risk management. All trades should be based on your own account size and risk tolerance — not on blind imitation. My strategy may not fit every account.
