It should be your actual writing scores, not overall scores, and definitely not scores from your mock test.

Task 1 Process Can you spot some useful language to describe the process of raising chicken for consumption?
I’m excited to share this PDF I’ve prepared as part of our ongoing Writing Marathon! This week, we’re diving into two-part question essays for Task 2. In this comprehensive guide, I’ve chosen a Task 2 question that holds special meaning for me. It’s the same question I received in 2017, the year I scored my first 8.0 in Writing (and the model answer included here is an improved version of the essay I wrote back then). Personally, I’ve always found two-part question essays easier to manage because the structure feels more straightforward when it comes to paragraphing.
Here is one of the recent Task 1 diagrams. How would you write the introduction and the overview?
Here’s what the former writing examiner commented regarding the updated public band descriptors: as anticipated, they’ve eased the minimum requirements, particularly for bands 8.0 and 9.0. I had a look at the grading criteria for band nine and it's definitely softer than what it was. I've circled in blue some of the new wording that they have introduced. It's probably partly due to a realisation that some people actually need band nine and in the past... It was almost this kind of sacred cow that you don't give band nine unless you thought it was good enough to be a native writer. I haven't had a chance to go through all of it though.
A must-watch video for everyone who’s always asking me to recommend good books to improve their writing skills. https://youtu.be/NXLrsqjme7k?si=qgO8PmDlRIs0HSpN
#TaskTwo #AgreeDisagree Here is a challenging Task 2 question: Many people believe that the best way to produce a happier society is to ensure that there are only small differences in earnings between the richest and the poorest members. To what extent do you agree or disagree? What do you think makes this question relatively harder for many candidates myself included?
