💫 India will be the partner country for REW 2026. As part of the forum's exhibition program, India will present projects of eight major Indian oil companies, including those implemented jointly with Russia. "Russia is interested in attracting Indian investments into the Russian oil and gas sector and in developing a distribution network with the participation of Russian companies in India. The relations between the countries are of a strategic partnership nature, and the leaders of the states are in constant contact. Mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of oil and gas projects is being actively promoted," — emphasized Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak. Advisor to the President of Russia Anton Kobyakov noted that the joint projects of the countries are becoming an example of mutually beneficial exchange. 🌴 Russia and China have outlined vectors for technological cooperation during the EEF offsite session in Beijing. The event, titled "Cooperation between the Russian Far East and the Provinces of China," brought together more than 200 representatives from federal and regional authorities, businesses, and leading experts. 🇶🇦 🇷🇺The delegation of Qatar has been invited to the Eastern Economic Forum 2026 and the Falcon Day Forum. 🌴 The Arab state's participation in these events was the key topic of a meeting between Advisor to the President of Russia Anton Kobyakov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Qatar to the Russian Federation Ahmed Nasser Al-Thani. 🌴 EEF 2026 sport programme published. International tournaments, meetings with football legends, a mass fun run, a unique open-water swim, and many other exciting events are included in the sport programme of the 11th Eastern Economic Forum. 🏃‍♀️For the tenth consecutive year, the Forum’s sport programme will begin with the traditional 5-km run on Russky Island. 📌On 2 September at 6:00 a.m., the starting grounds for Forum participants and residents of Primorye Territory will open near the Primorsky Oceanarium. 🍳 Russia to establish center for development of digital platforms ✍ The Russian Government has approved a resolution calling for the establishment of a permanent subcommittee for the development of digital platforms. Its task will be facilitating the development of the platform economy and improving government regulation. The body will consist of government officials from the relevant agencies. 📌 The fifth Future Technologies Forum, scheduled to take place in 2027, will be dedicated to the creation and adoption of digital platforms.
