We invite you to take part in the annual competition for the international eco-award "EcoWorld" for outstanding accomplishments in the sphere of environmental protection, ensuring ecological safety and actions aimed at sustainable development in the 21st century. The competition has been held since 2003 by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, over 250 organisations and individual authors from 50 countries take part in it. Selection of participants is carried out on the basis of applications and documents, confirming the implementation of projects, programmes and campaigns presented to the jury. Applications are accepted until 15 December, 2026. Participation is free of charge for foreign entities and individuals, the awards ceremony will take place online. We invite you to take part in the World Russian Championship-2026 for foreigners! Make a team: a mentor, 21 years of age or over, 3 participants from 16 to 35 years of age (non-Russian citizens), register at the website https://russianchampionship.com and complete the assignments. The organizers of the championship are the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Centre of International Education Activities" with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Participation is free of charge. 30 best teams (10 from each category), according to the rating, will receive an invitation to the offline final, which will take place in Moscow on 20-22 November, 2026. The organizer covers travel expenses to Russia and back, provides visa support, accommodation and meals. The championship winners could be included in the quota for free education at Russian universities. 🤝 EAEU – ASEAN: Cooperation in Technical Regulation 🗓 On July 31, the Eurasian Economic Commission (#EEC), together with the ASEAN Secretariat, held a seminar to discuss the technical regulation systems of the Eurasian Economic Union (#EAEU) and #ASEAN. 🔹 The EEC presented the key aspects of the EAEU unified technical regulation system, its current status, and development prospects. 🔹 ASEAN Secretariat’s representatives touched upon the topic of conformity assessment and shared the experience of food safety regulation and standardization in ASEAN countries. 🔹The seminar addressed the current safety requirements for light industry products, electrical equipment, rubber products, as well as food safety requirements, including tea, coffee, fish, and seafood. 📌 The parties confirmed that trade ties between the EAEU and ASEAN continue to expand, and mutual understanding of technical regulatory systems, standards, and conformity assessment procedures is necessary to facilitate unimpeded market access and ensure product safety. Цифровизация сферы образования: обсуждение новых методов обучения и внедрения информационных технологий В Сингапуре состоялась 8-я встреча Министров образования Восточноазиатского саммита с участием стран Ассоциации государств Юго-Восточной Азии и ее партнеров по диалогу. Центральной темой обсуждений стала трансформация систем образования под влиянием стремительного развития ИИ и цифровых технологий. Российский опыт в этой области представил заместитель Министра науки и высшего образования Российской Федерации Айрат Гатиятов. В своем видеообращении он подтвердил, что цифровая трансформация отечественного образования уже дает конкретные результаты. Успешным примером стал суперсервис «Поступление в вуз онлайн», который упрощает для абитуриентов процесс подачи документов в ходе приемной кампании. В 2025 году им воспользовались уже 79% поступающих. Айрат Гатиятов подчеркнул, что подобные инструменты создают условия для беспрепятственного доступа к образованию и построения успешной карьеры. Это важнейший фактор определения студентами образовательной траектории. По итогам встречи участники приняли Совместное заявление министров образования Восточноазиатского саммита, направленное на поддержку международного гуманитарного взаимодействия на всех уровнях. «На полях» мероприятия также состоялся Форум по искусственному интеллекту и ряд визитов в ведущие образовательные учреждения Сингапура.

We would like to inform foreign students and university entrants aspiring to pursue a higher education in Russia that starting from the 2027/2028 academic year all applications, including those within the Government of the Russian Federation's quota, will only be accepted via the personal profile on the Public Services Portal of the Russian Federation ("Gosuslugi"). Foreign citizens who do not have a Russian Insurance Number of an Individual Ledger Account, in order to obtain an account on "Gosuslugi", will need to undergo authorization procedures via the ruID mobile application, available at "Apple Store" and "Google Play".

🗓 On July 22 in Manila, Russia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov held the annual meeting with the Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (#ASEAN). The meeting took place in the year marking the 35th anniversary of Russia-ASEAN relations. Particular emphasis was placed on implementing the decisions of the Russia-ASEAN Anniversary Summit (Kazan, June 17-18, 2026) to expand cooperation in food and energy security, digitalisation, advanced and innovative technologies, space and youth exchanges. Prospects for launching new areas of cooperation were also discussed. 👉 Sergey Lavrov's opening remarks at the Russia-ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting The discussions demonstrated that Russia and ASEAN share similar approaches to current international issues. 🎙 Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's opening remarks at the Russia-ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (Manila, July 22, 2026) 💬 Sergey Lavrov: Before beginning my remarks, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the people of Thailand and to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the recent devastating fire in Bangkok. We wish all those injured a speedy recovery. *** First of all, I would like to thank the Philippine ASEAN Chairmanship for its warm hospitality and the excellent organisation of this meeting, which is being held in the year marking the 35th anniversary of Russia-ASEAN relations. We are also grateful to Myanmar, the country coordinator for the #RussiaASEAN dialogue, for its efforts to advance our strategic partnership within this format. In 2027, the coordinating role will pass to Vietnam, and we have no doubt that the steady development of Russia-ASEAN relations will continue. At yesterday evening’s excellent reception and before the meeting began this morning, many of our ASEAN colleagues and friends recalled the Russia-ASEAN Summit held in Kazan just over a month ago. The Sides discussed priority tasks for strengthening the Russia-Laos strategic partnership, including the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, with an emphasis on expanding trade, investment and humanitarian cooperation. An in-depth exchange on international affairs confirmed the close alignment of the two countries’ approaches to key global and regional issues. #RussiaLaos
