As I said in a previous post, a potential constitutional crisis (Article 1, Section 4 vs. Article II, Section III) is brewing over Congress failing to pass the SAVE Act to secure our elections and states exploiting existing federal law governing election security. Let me explain: Article 1, Section 4 stipulates that the "times, places and manner" of holding federal elections is delegated to the states, but that Congress can pass superseding laws to regulate how states conduct elections So, in other words, the overall argument would be that the President is overstepping his authority by declaring a national emergency to impose key components of the SAVE Act given that the power to regulate elections was granted to state legislatures and Congress in the constitution. The flip side of the argument is that under Article 2, Section 3, it is the duty of POTUS to "...take care that the laws be faithfully executed". Clearly this would pertain to federal laws governing election security which contain many loopholes exploited by states that the SAVE Act would close, including voter registration and citizenship verification under the NVRA, voter roll maintenance (under the NVRA & HAVA), Absentee/Mail Voting and Ballot Handling (under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA), and Voter Identification and Same-Day Registration (largely regulated under HAVA) The President can argue (quite correctly) that the exploitation of existing federal election security law by states combined with the refusal of Congress to pass the SAVE Act which reflects the will of a vast majority of Americans represents a clear and present national security threat that he can use his Article 2 powers to confront, given that it is his duty to ensure that federal election security law is faithfully executed....which it is not. So what this does is essentially pit two sections of the law of the land against one another, presenting POTUS with no other option but to declare a national emergency to secure federal elections. The problem, however, is that declaring a national security emergency does not create new presidential powers out of thin air. It mainly activates specific authorities that Congress has already written into law in advance and that become available only when a national emergency is declared. One the other hand, POTUS can assert that Congress (acting on behalf of rogue states and foreign powers) is obstructing his duty to "take care that the laws be faithfully executed" at the federal level by refusing to pass the SAVE Act, allowing state level exploitation of existing election security statutes, thereby necessitating the imposition of preventative actions to ensure compliance with federal law Likewise, he could also potentially declare the Insurrection Act by framing state's refusal to comply with federal law and judicial tyranny as an act of rebellion 👉 § 252: When “unlawful obstructions, combinations, or assemblages, or rebellion against the authority of the United States” make it impracticable to enforce federal laws through ordinary judicial proceedings. Of course this is all speculative, but it appears as if there is at least the potential for these scenarios to unfold. It's important to understand that a move like this would be completely unprecedented; no prior POTUS has effectively implemented new laws under the conditions of a national emergency. But he could argue that he is only acting to enforce existing law and has no choice because Congress and state legislatures are in open rebellion against the authority of the president to fulfill his duty under Article 2 (securing elections as a matter of national security ) Let's see what happens

POTUS is perfectly content in our current position. He is utilizing a modern day version of siege tactics. Rather than utilizing ground troops and mass casualties, he neutralized Iran from range, surrounded them, cut off their imports/exports, and is squeezing them economically. So for those saying nothing is happening, or that Trump needs to hurry up, that we need a full-scale invasion, etc., you need to understand the approach. Trump is saving countless lives, while restructuring the global flow of energy, and waiting for Iran to collapse economically. The only thing Iran have going for them, is that their handlers also control the US/Global media.
